Good all round machine
Like this machine and will get better with practice as I’m just starting to learn where everything is and what settings to use on different materials. I’ve managed to hem 2 pairs of jeans and a top so far so this machine will earn its keep on what I save taking items to a dressmaker.

1st sewing machine I have had
This is the 1st machine I have had, so I have nothing to compare it against, but I do not like the bobbin winding part, it seems to slip. The needle threading device is better than my mother's old singer treadle machine, but hard as I am left handed. I can say if it harder or easier to use than other ones on the market, It does appear to be mid range in price, can't say I know how to rate "thickness". As a male crossdresser who has lost 25kg I bought this to "take in" lots of skirts and tops that where to big for me. I am going to try and make some leather seats for my 1934 MG

Perfect for any job
Great little machine. Bought to replace an older one. Works well - love the fact that it's self threading and also you don't need to alter anything to wind a bobbin. Just thread as shown on top of the machine, put the bobbin on the winder, move it across to connect with the silver spool and foot on the pedal to go. Easy peasy - love it.

Brother Strong & Tough Sewing Machine.
Really happy with this sewing machine. I’ve sewn for years and had my last Brother sewing machine for more than 30 years, in my opinion Brother are the best on the market and this one is brilliant, it’s so easy to use and sews like a dream on any thickness. I love the needle threader too, it’s an added bonus with my aging eyesight!!

Ok buy beginners machine.
I got this sewing machine as it was advertised to be strong and tough. It has some power but not as much as i expected. It came with a few accessories which was good to get more out of the machine. It is a nice sewing machine and it functions well. My older model seems suits me more and i prefer to sew on my older one. Not a bad buy but not what i expected.
