I have found these filters to be very good at removal of chlorine from tap water which is by far my main reason why I didn't drink tap water as the taste did bother me. By bringing both filtered and unfiltered water under the light there is a visible difference in the number of particles in the water, the filtered water had none floating about (these are not dangerous). I conducted a blind test to verify if the taste of the filtered water was truly better at least to me personally and I have found that in 90 per cent of cases it did. However, from time to time the water did taste sweet to me. It is important to take a look at the latest water report of your local water supplier to check if they comply with the regulations but I think that even some store-bought water might contain contaminants the same way the tap water might. I am glad they offer a recycling programme present in a lot of UKs local shops to take care of the used cartridges as it is important to protect the environment, that is a big plus and advantage of such a big company as opposed to other water filtering systems. I used to buy bottled water which can rack up expenses and it does create unnecessary plastic waste I felt guilty for, now I can enjoy the water at home with great taste and fewer contaminants but also at a much cheaper price per litre. Overall, I would recommend this product as it is trusted by many and provides a great solution to picky taste buds.

Good quality. Use in a water jug and a kettle.

We rely on this due to living in a very hard water area, Hampshire. Without these the cup of tea has a film on the top and overall looks a bit unpleasant. Once we use these that goes and the tea looks amazing. No weird floating bits. Also, we use the Brita kettle with the integrated filter and we very rarely have to clean it with any descaler. That alone really does show that these cartridges work very well at filtering out the impurities, especially limescale in our case. As for taste, I have grown to like the taste of the water here after moving up from Devon. the Brita cartridges do mask any extra tastes too so that seems a bonus if you do not like the taste. So, whilst not cheap, these do really work very well. Quality has been consistent. We have never had one that had failed on us. They are fairly easy to setup. Occasionally you may see some black carbon type deposits floating but it's rare really and just means you need to do one extra flush through. Once the air is removed from within the cartridge they perform very well and process the water quickly for a good month or more before requiring replacement. Will continue to use these for sure.

These filter are made with best quality integrats , water taste nice ,using this latter in tea kettle never have lime scale on it . It's do what it's says using these filter since 9 years plus , save plastic on earth

Edit: I confirm that all three filters are utter CRAP! The carbon particles are actually in the filtered water settled at the bottom of the container, which could be dangerous to health, to say the least! One of the 3 filters is broken. Those nodules in the filtration system have spilled into the packaging and there is no way to use it without those substances getting into your water system. Now I opened only one of them, I wonder how the remaining two are. Never buying from here again.

Do their job as required

Ormai è un anno che lo usiamo e ci troviamo benissimo. Usiamo l’acqua filtrata per bere, la mettiamo nella fontanella per i gatti, il filtro rimane più pulito e non si riempie di calcare, idem il serbatoio del ferro da stiro. La uso anche per pulire il divano con il detergente specifico perché non lascia aloni. Unico neo, è aumentato troppo il prezzo.

Deja muy buen sabor durante al menos 10 días cada cartucho. Probado en una familia de 5 personas, en verano. El precio es el mejor que he encontrado comprando menos de 4 cartuchos. Recomendable.
