This brush was terrible. It didn’t go through my dogs hair at all. She has a very thick wavy coat, but this brush was a complete waste of money, as it did nothing in the way of getting her brushed out. Really don’t recommend for digs with thick coats. My dog is a doodle.

I was buying cheap brushes, this poodle brush has long bristles for untangling hair. I see it well constructed

We have Bernedoodles, and I have to say that this brush and a straight comb do the trick. My adult kids love the brush for their dogs (my dog’s puppies), so I’ll be ordering more.

I have a rescue, Hank, that is either an Old English Sheepdog (per the rescue) or a Sheepadoodle (my suspicion). His coat is THICK and that undercoat can get mats really, really quickly. He has proven to be a challenge for me to keep up with in regard to grooming him. Plus, he doesn't really like to sit still for me, so sometimes he can be a bit of a pain about it.The other brushes I have don't seem to get into the undercoat very well, but this brush does. I have been able to get out the mats he gets fairly easily with patience and gentle pressure using this brush. The bristles are a bit prickly, so you have to keep in mind not to put too much pressure when brushing your dog, but most of these types of brushes are a bit prickly. I like the feel of the handle, and it fits comfortably in my hand. It's definitely a brush I will be using often in his grooming process.

Purchased for my poodle puppy and I can already tell it’s a great quality brush, I previously had a Bichon Frise, and wish I would’ve known about this rush before, he would’ve had one for sure!
