A fantastic purchase, definitely worth buying I am very happy. It looks great, it heats up quickly, it is a good quality product the delivery was so quick too. I don't use an oven anymore, just a duronic, a rice cooker and soon a deep fat fryer for all of my cooking needs. How to explain this to you, it's a real good quality product durable, strong, reliable, easy to clean. A great buy

What a brilliant hob. Our hob & oven broke in the summer - as we’ll be getting new ones when our new kitchen is fitted we couldn’t buy one. This hob has been a godsend! It is great quality, reliable and cooks beautifully. It is really simple to operate and is very good looking. The price is amazing - we can’t recommend it highly enough! It’s been a life saver…literally! Using this hob, microwave and a ninja fryer to cook our meat, we produced home made blinis and a full roast family Christmas dinner, all of which was delicious. Couldn’t be happier! You won’t be sorry if you buy this.

I found this double hotplate to be extremely efficient, heating up quickly and reasonably easy to control temperature. I always get a little cross when people review an item, say it's fabulous, then don't give 5 stars. Why not? In many ways this item deserves 5 stars for efficiency, although the one area I feel that lets it down is its appearance after just a few uses. I wrongly chose Stainless Steel, but I wish now I had gone for the black. The area around the hotplates now has a 'burnt' ring round them, no matter how carefully I clean them. The rings themselves are like a rubber material, with tiny grooves. Do not attempt to wipe them with kitchen paper - the paper gets shredded and leaves them looking messy. It's great at doing its job, just not so great to look at. I should also mention that it gets very hot and stays hot for a long time after it's switched off. On a full size cooker this is not a problem, but care needs to be taken when handling something so portable when it is so hot. I do like it, in spite of my negative comments and I would buy it again if necessary, I just wouldn't choose the Stainless Steel option.

It is easy to use a stove, heats up very quickly. It is exactly what I needed. UPDATE 2: Yesterday the small plate stopped working. The large stopped a month ago after being used most of the time. So, I have enjoyed a great performance from this cooker for 2 years and 10 days in total. I feel that it was worth my money so 5 Stars remain! UPDATE: So it is almost 1 year since I bought this stove for home. As you can see from the pictures there is a bit of rust on the plates but this is normal for this type of material. The covers of the lights fell off, one of them broke in half (Probably because of the heat). A bit of corrosion can be seen on the stainless steel body. But other than that it still works perfectly. A little advertisement: The big plate brings 1L of water to a boil in exactly 8 min on a mid heat (and with a lid on). This is relevantly fast comparing to the modern glass hobs. I am still 100% satisfied with this product and I can confidently say that it is worth the money. I saw a few posts about this product breaking after a few uses but it was probably a manufacturing defect. I think the seller should be more customer-friendly in these cases as this product really is good and there is no point of receiving negative ratings for it.

I have only had this item a few weeks and so far is living up to expectations. It is hard to give it any star rating as I have not yet had it long enough to put it to the test of time so have only given it a 3 star rating but so far so good. The numbered switches are quite helpful and easier than the previous 2 hob burner I had to gage temprature. The downside is that if something boils over it stains very quickly and as it is advised not to use harsh cleaners (Brillos) it remains stained around the hobs, rest cleans up nice.

Bought to replace an IKEA branded tabletop hob, this is a very nice piece of kit. The raised legs are stable and help with cleaning unlike many tabletop hobs which rest on low rubber stoppers, the front knobs are easy to use and easily turn into the three heat settings per ring. Once at temperature the heat cycles in and out which can be a bit disconcerting as when the light goes out you are not quite sure if the power has gone off or it is at temperature, but it is a useful feature which helps controllability. The brushed steel effect is slightly more difficult to clean compared to a smooth finish as the brushed effect seems to cling onto spills more but apart from that it is a very useful and attractive hob unit. Ideal for bedsits, caravans, or like me, small kitchens where a full size cooker or hob would take up valuable space, it performs well, looks good and was worth the money.

I bought this product about 1 year ago. Initially I had issues when turning it on and it would emmit fumes and smells as the black stove tops seemed to 'burn'. The whole device then go covered in this black substance that came off a result of the plates heating. Eventually about extremely light use, the stove mid use started losing heat despite being on full power. It eventually colled completey down and no longer heats up either side. This device is faulty, a waste of money and just dangerous in general to have a cheap stove top like this lying around given the terrible quality. Approached Amazon for the 2 year warranty with hope, was told to contact the seller who told me "well not our problem, you can send it back at your own cost to the UK, and we'll try 'repair' it. Would recommend sticking to a known brand and save yourself issues down the line when this cheap product breaks down.

Excellent product. I bought this to see us through a three-month kitchen development and it's been great so far. I looks good too! I was a little worried on first use as it looked like it was smoking, but it wasn't hot where it shouldn't be and it became clear it was just dust, etc, burning off on first use. So far I've fried ingredients for a beef stew, that then went in the slow cooker, on it, as well as made a delicious risotto, a tomato tuna pasta dish, mashed potato, scrambled egg, peppered steak, etc. It's worked well for me if I've turned the rings to max until I can hear that cooking is starting and then turned them down to min. They then seem to keep a perfect boil in a lidded pan of pasta or potatoes. Had it a little higher for the 'unlidded' risotto but the rings heat up quick and are surprisingly responsive. Just turn them down until the orange light goes off if you need the heat to reduce quick. Very pleased and would highly recommend. My electrician pointed out that it'll be useful for BBQs too, if I want to be able to cook everything outside.
