Expensive, but worth it for improving custom builds.
I have tried a few different types of cotton that were available at my local vape shop, however this product was not included. I actually discovered this product while following youtube videos on various coil builds, it was heavily recommended by several youtubers. The amazon reviews were also very favourable, even though this is more expensive than any cotton I have bought previously I took the plunge to see if it would improve my builds. It comes in a resealable bag which is great for keeping it clean, the cotton itself is super soft (like literally touching clouds), it comes in large "rashers", there are 10 of these bigger pieces. Some of the cotton i've used previously was pressed on the top and bottom which meant you had to remove it to get the soft stuff in the middle, this is not the case for Cotton Bacon, you don't have to remove any of it before wicking. All in all I would expect this cotton to last atleast 80 rewicks, even for the most wasteful type. If you pinched off just what you need I suspect it would last far longer. Its very easy to pinch off a suitable size piece with your fingers, pack it slightly and slide it inside the coil. The ends fluff up nicely and are super absorbant when your priming the coil. Overall the cotton seems to be of very high quality, it wicks very well, and has a very clean taste. I have been able to produce some massive clouds with it - all without taking any dry hits.

Amazingly good cotton with no burning or spitting
I just cleaned everything out and built two new coils almost identical to my last ones and the difference between this cotton and the organic cotton pads I was using is incredible. Literally no break-in time whereas it used to take almost a whole tank of liquid before it started running perfectly. This just worked immediately without a single dry hit or burnt taste. The vapour production is quite high despite using far less cotton that before and the flavour is very good. The most surprising thing however is I am no longer getting any spitting or crackling from the coil whatsoever. The inhale feels as smooth as the cotton does itself and it seems to ramp up perfectly. Whereas no matter how much or how little of the organic cotton I used the first tank hissed and crackled like an angry snake in a bowl of Rice Krispies. It even made intermittent loud popping sounds on anything below 75-80 watts and started tasting burnt at 110-120w on a TFV8. This cotton covers that full range with only minor crackling at low wattage and even managed to go up to the full 220w of this mod without any burnt taste or chokingly fast vapour production. At that ridiculous wattage the clouds do feel far more sparse than with the organic cotton (perhaps just because I used so little) but the flavour is excellent. With the organic cotton it was virtually impossible to use it above 120w without choking on burning hot unpleasant tasting fog. I am now also able to use the min-max controls on this mod without issue where before anything higher than the minimum was just too much. Whether all this is simply down to finding the ideal amount of cotton to use or the actual quality of this cotton needs further testing but it physically wasn't possible to use this little with the organic cotton pads due to the flat sides and coarseness of the material. This cotton is just incredibly simple to wick and one pack is going to last a long time.

Better to tease it away than cut it.
Now that I've had a few goes with cotton bacon Vs muji pads. I've found the cotton bacon works better if you gently tease a strip off along the length of the bacon. Then, VERY gently roll the strip in the palm of your hand to carefully mould any super whispy bits back into your strip and to carefully shape it into a roll ready for wicking. This makes for a super fluffy strip that you'll seriously notice the difference of how it wicks later on, as opposed to a denser strip if cutting it off. Depending on the RBA deck/tank you are wicking, you can cut this roll in half to make 2 wicks per strip you tease away. Takes a bit of getting used to if all you've used is muji pads, but it's slightly more versatile than muji pads that are layered. Flavour wise, my taste buds aren't the most finely tuned on the planet lol. I tend to go for very strong flavours anyway and if I cant source a flavour I really like that's strong enough, I add my own flavour concentrates to augment the flavour to my needs. Overall, good stuff but you need to be willing to work with it a little to get the best out of it Vs simply cutting strips off of Muji pads. 5/5.

Really great wick that holds a tonne of juice, wicks evenly and has the best flavour
First time trying cotton bacon (always been a die hard fan of Japanese organic cotton or just regular cotton balls from boots) which are OK but don't really wick as good for higher wattage and tend to gunk up quite quickly with high VG juices! So after taking the plunge and buying this I can safely say I wont be going back to organic cotton or cotton balls! Honestly you get that "cottony" taste for the first 1 maybe 2 drips (if using an RDA) and after that its 100% full flavour and wicks like a beast it is, especially because its made mostly for people what sub-ohm like me I mostly run coils around 0.13ohm on my IPV3 200w or on my wismec RX200 250W (if you own the wismec there's now a 3.10 update ;-) ) The cotton is so easy to work with and what made it better for me is you don't really need scissors to cut it so its good if your going away and don't want to haul your full kit around. Looking at it the 10 sheets should last a while unless your re-wicking 5-7 times a day if in that case go on YouTube and learn how to wick correctly lol. My honest opinion is you pay for what you get and for this it true if your debating weather to buy it look at the pros and cons on YouTube! or for the sake of £6 odd your going to get a great vape which wicks evenly and holds a tonne of juice. I hope my review of this helped and if you have any questions about battery safety, chargers, builds, mods, drippers or tanks what meet your needs just ask! I've been one of the "advanced vapers for around 3 years and have spend plenty of time talking to the pros. Thanks
