Hape All-in-1 Easel | Award-Winning Double-Sided Kids Standing Easel Adjustable Height Stand with Paper Roll, Chalkboard, Whiteboard, Magnets and 3 Paint Pots

Bought as a Christmas present for a two year old and it looks like it will be a big hit for years to come. I spent a lot of time looking at the options for a child's whiteboard/easel. I wanted a magnetic whiteboard on one side, chalkboard on the other (tick!). More than anything, I wanted it to be stable so it wouldn't get knocked over and have the user fall down on top or underneath it. I'm happy with this - seems to be more stable than its competitors and it's solidly made. The suggestion I would make is that it would benefit from non-slip feet. This is probably not an issue on carpet but we've got hard floors. The paper roll holder is a great idea, though painting on the whiteboard side seems like a recipe for getting paint on the whiteboard, which might be a problem. I think this product is great value - it was around £55 when bought. There are cheaper options, but they're not made of wood and many of them looked flimsy. What's missing is that it didn't come with a lot of accessories. I bought a Quercetti "tablet" product that had magnetic letters, numbers and picture tiles so that (1) we had accessories to go with this easel and (2) as something so that we could essentially take the same toy on the road. I also bought dry-wipe pens and chalk separately. It would have been a good idea for these to be included. It also needs paint and paintbrush. Overall, it looks great and does the job - more importantly, it was a hit with the young man I gave it to.

I was looking for an adjustable easel, that would hold paper, with a magnetic board and chalk side. This fulfilled all of these requirements. It arrived within a day and fitted together easily. We still have to use it as ordered chalk, pens etc separately and waiting for them to arrive. It is really well made and great for a 2 and 4 year old to play at the same time. The paper is hard to thread through so needs an adult to help. Wider paper would also be useful (44cm wide) to stop the kids drawing on the White board. It is good to have a bar to secure the paper at the bottom too so it does not move. Overall very pleased with it and feel it was the best choice on the market for what I wanted. Other option was waiting for the magnetic version of the Melissa and Doug easel released later this year.

Fantastic easel. After spending some time looking for one that adjusted in height, had a paper holder and a magnetic side I finally came across this one. This ticks all the (my) boxes. It is very well made and attractive. The blackboard works well. The white board is magnetic. There are bars to hold the paper flat and a large tray to hold crayons etc. My little 18 month old can use it comfortably at the lowest height setting and because it can be adjusted she will be using it for years to come.

This is an attractive looking easel and my granddaughter loves using it. It gets 4 rather than 5 stars because it is smaller than I expected and definitely not as wide as the picture implies. The roll of paper it comes with is extremely short and when it runs out it has to be replaced with an equally narrow roll which is not easy to source at a reasonable price. Otherwise it is sound.

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this child's easel for my daughter's 2nd birthday. It was packaged really well and all parts were present, undamaged and no warping of any wood or surfaces. The unboxing and build took approx 15 minutes and was super easy with the supplied instructions. My daughter has yet to receive the easel so I shall update if there are any issues with the day to day usage of the product however I have to say that I'm very happy with the first impressions and look forward to seeing her receiving it for her birthday.

This is a really well made, sturdy and well thought out easel, my granddaughter loves it and gets a lot of use out of it. I’ll be purchasing it again for my other granddaughter.

I think for the price it could do with a few more accessories. At the least a packet of chalks would have been nice. I had to buy chalks and a board wiper. Colouring pens and the magnetic letters separate. This makes a significant difference to the amount spent on this item before it can be put to use. Also the paper reel it does come with is very poor I mean a few more sheets of paper wouldn’t go a miss.

Very well made and easy to assemble. Tray with paint pots works great and love that you can secure paper and stop it from moving.

I bought this Board for my niece on her 7th Birthday. The Board is actually shorter for a kid below 6 years old even after extending the height to its highest possible company given limit. So , had to manually increase the height with a little carpentry work with drill machine and screws. Apart from that , my niece absolutely loved this board. Its a value for money product. The built material is sturdy . No Duster or marker pens were given with the board. You have to get it as extra. All in all, Happy with the purchase.

Fantastic, my toddler found it really fun to draw on whiteboard, blackboard, and paper to paint. The perks of providing all the 3 mentioned, plus thoughtful features of the table and the 'paper holders', and its light and easy to move about, makes this a worthwhile thing to get. Furthermore, its beneficial for toddler to help them with building art/creativity.
