Swiffer Set 1 Floor Mop Plus 2 Floor Dusters

I used to hoover and then wet mop to clean the wooden floor, but have noticed that the wet mop was very dirty every time, which means the vacuum cleaner wasn’t very effective in this job. Received this Swiffer this morning, and I couldn’t wait to clean my floors. It is just amazing! Very light to handle and so easy to do the work. And the floor is so much cleaner.

i recently adopted an elderly basset hound and was horrified at how much hair he produces! I hoover with a Henry hoover, then mop my hardwood floors. However, within seconds my damp mop has gathered loads of hair, so even after mopping there are clumps of damp hair everywhere, especially round table legs etc. it is very depressing! I was having to change the mop water daily and also wash the mop heads in the washer-where the hair is no doubt clogging up my washing machine! I tried my new Swiffer mop today-it seemed to pick up loads of hair-even after hoovering-and of course the cloth can then just be thrown away. I don't think I could do without the hoover completely as the mop does not pick up crumbs (though of course it would gather them in one place for you) and I also have a couple of thick rugs. I then put the damp cloth on the mop head and it did leave a nice, nearly dry finish on the floors. After one room the wet cloth did dry up-but you could always squirt a little more water down-or cleaning product if you wanted. By the end of all this I was exhausted! of course I need not do all three things daily. There was certainely no more damp swirls of dog hair left on the floor. Once I have a bit more confidence, I am hoping to do without a bucket and the usual mop-this would be a god send. I am assuming if you keep the Swiffer 'loaded' with a dry cloth-then you could quickly mop up any minor spills-forinstance, the dog leaves a trail of water after having a drink from his bowl! It is not a magic answer-nothing is-but this is definitely one more 'tool' to try and keep your house reasonably clean with a big lollipy, hairy dog around. I am very pleased.

Very nice floor mop. It arrived in a nice package and it was very easy to assemble. The material feels good but the mop is very light. Giving it 4 stars because the rod does not collapse (it would have been handy for storage) and because it does not feel 100% sturdy.

This mop is great . Good handling as it moves around edges and skirting boards with ease . I bought with cleaning pad and drying pads so all good .

I have 3 dogs, two cats and a dark hardwood floor. Keeping the floor free from pet hair has been the bane of my life. I have a very efficient ‘pet’ cylinder vacuum cleaner but with limited mobility assembling it twice a day was a nuisance. I am not an obsessive when it comes to cleaning but do like my home to look clean and tidy. Anyway I ordered this and haven’t looked back. It picks up every trace of pet hair leaving the floor spotless and with the minimum of effort. The swivel head makes it easy to dust under things. I don’t buy the Swiffer dusters to use with it I get the Pledge ones that fit perfectly and are considerably cheaper. I’ve only had the mop for 3 days and it has already saved me much time and dress.

This is a fantastic product. I wish I’d bought one years ago! It is easy to use and store. It has made keeping my floors clean a lot easier especially under furniture without having to move anything. I use regular Floor Wipes from Supermarket on it, I have two Border Collies that shed a lot and this cleans paw prints and dirt from hallway floor and even collects dog hair off my flooring. I highly recommend this product.

Really pleased with my little Swiffer. Have tried many mop type products & this is by far the best I have tried. Looks a little flimsy but the lightweight makes it very easy to use, a doddle to whizz round the floor. To use wet I have bought shops own floor wipes which are fine but be aware they dry up really quickly so don't cover much ground. My solution to this is to use a wipe then when it becomes dry leave it on the mop & use a spray for the rest of the floor, several on the market for laminate which I have. Does feel sticky to start with but when completely dry no stickiness remains just a nice clean floor. Bin the wipe, job done!

Purchased this mop as it features disposable dusters and the ability to attach wet wipes. The provided dust wipes are SUPERB - they catch all manner of dust, grime and hair without any issues. I vastly prefer the Swifter to traditional bucket floor mops, which are pretty unhygienic. Furthermore the mop is light and easy to store.

Lo bueno: + los paños secos son de calidad, aguantan bastante y el pelo y polvo se enganchan enseguida + si no ensucias mucho el paño puedes quitarle lo más grueso (pelos) y usarlo para una segunda vez + llegas a todos los rincones - a veces se te quedan bolas de pelo y polvo debajo de la puerta y eso cuesta incluso con la aspiradora - esta mopa la acercas al borde de la puerta, la pasas por allí y te lo recoge todo + el palo es ligero, cómodo y tiene gancho para colgar - que más esperar Lo malo: - Nada malo. Pero hay que saber que la mopa no reemplaza una aspiradora. No te recoge migas, y si hay mucho polvo tampoco podrá con todo. Es una cosa que la pasas cuando se ha acumulado poca suciedad y te da pereza sacar la aspiradora por un poco de pelo y polvo. Tal vez pasarás una semana esta mopa y la segunda haces una limpieza más profunda, pero te ahorra sacar la aspiradora o escoba cada vez que veas un poco de suciedad. Así que es perfecta, pero hay que saber que no es un reemplazo de una aspiradora.

Practical and light

Nos llego esta mañana, fácil de usar llega a todos los lados y ocupa muy poco espacio al guardarse. Es perfecto! altamente recomendable.

Nous avons acheté ce kit balai + lingettes lorsque notre fille a déménagé. L'état des lieux avait été fixé à une certaine date mais nous avons déménagé 15 jours avant. Il nous a donc fallu revenir 15 jours après pour faire l'état des lieux. Comment faire le ménage une heure avant l'état des lieux quand l'appartement est vide et que vous prenez le train pour les dernières formalités ? Nous avons pris le train avec uniquement notre balai Swiffer dont le manche était plié et le ménage a été fait en un rien de temps. Aucune poussière n'a résisté, aucune tache non plus puisque nous avions des lingettes à poussière et des lingettes humides. Pour l'efficacité, la rapidité de nettoyage des sols, et la discrétion, cela a été topissime ! Nous aurions pu laisser sur place notre balai et reprendre le train... Oui, nous aurions pu mais "jamais sans mon Swiffer" ! Il a donc fait le chemin du retour et me rend bien service même maintenant quand je n'ai pas envie de sortir aspirateur et l'appareil vapeur pour faire le ménage. Et là où il est redoutable d'efficacité et de rapidité, c'est dans les escaliers ! Merci qui ? Je vous le donne en 1000.
