Small & compact but works well in the average sized room
Since the weather has turned cold and wet of late and the energy/cost of living crisis, I have not turned to using the central heating as I normally would do, I had noticed my bed seemed cold or damp. Not knowing whether this was just the cold I invested in this little dehumidifier. I was surprised and I have to say shocked to discover that after having this terrific little machine on for only 2 hours it had collected some water. After leaving it running for a few more hours and the water level remaining roughly the same, I then turned it off. I think it made a difference as the bed didn't seem as damp that night. It is very quiet but not entirely silent and as a light sleeper to keep it on all night would keep me awake so I now put it on before bed and in the morning. It has highlighted a problem in this bedroom that I'd had suspicions about anyway. The house is a renovation project and this room is on a north facing corner and under a sloping roof that I do not think has any type of insulation. Needless to say I will be investigating and dealing with this problem in the months to come rather than leaving it as not urgent as I have been doing. So thank you little dehumidifier. You have already paid for yourself in more ways than one. I haven't checked on the cost of running the machine but it can't be as anywhere near the cost of running the heating so I am not that concerned at present. Once I have rectified the problem I will be using the dehumidifier elsewhere in the property or passing it on to relatives who may also find it useful.

Great dehumidifier, (for a year)
It seems to be working really well. We have a very damp pantry and it's been quietly collecting water every day now. It was extremely easy to set up (literally plugged it in and pressed the power button) and equally easy to empty the water tank. When I first plugged it in I kept checking it to see if it was working and when nothing had been collected after 24 hours I was concerned. I turned it off and looked around it to see if I didn't do something, but couldn't see anything so turned it back on and left it for another day. I have no idea if I magically did something or if it just needs a day to get started, but since then there's been water added to the tank every day. The only thing I'm unsure about is how to clean the tank. I received an email saying it was a good idea to clean it once a month to stop bacterial growth, but as far as I can tell you can't open the lid. (To empty the tank you pull a little plug like the ones in little water guns) I don't want to force it! I'm very pleased with how well it's working, how quiet it is, how easy it was too get it going, and definitely the price!! UPDATE: I had it for a year and absolutely loved it. It was a little work horse in our very damp pantry. However, it just stopped working one day. I hadn't emptied it and it stopped automatically. But when I emptied the tank, it just wouldn't start up again. Amazon is refunding me and the customer service was great, but to be honest, I just want my dehumidifier back! Which is why, even though it broke, I don't want to give it less stars than 4. I'm probably going to just buy another one

Lowers Humidity Whilst Drying Laundry
Father, being an extremely experienced electrical engineer recommended this de humidifier to me when he saw it on Amazon. Small, compact, one of the few I’ve seen of this size and low price with the Peltier technology in it, the others all floor standing units, huge and highly priced, hence why I’ve never had one. He told me that it is low voltage (3 amps) so shouldn’t cost much to run, and could even run off one of my extensions (provided I didn’t exceed the socket’s total power output of 13 amps here in the UK). I have had the de humidifier 12 days now. In the short time I have had it, it has done a good job. Since getting in the new fortress double glazed windows that don’t let anything heat wise through them, I have had the problem of drying my laundry in my medium sized lounge as the air humidity has gone rather high. I don’t tumble dry, costs too much on the electric living alone. First impressions? Really quiet, as shown in the short video I have posted. Really small and compact, only goes up to the first cross sections on my airer. The tank is clear so I can see how much water is in it, although I have always emptied it before the ‘full’ light has gone on. I left it between the airers over night, and during the first few hours when the room usually gets quite humid, I had no humidity whatsoever, just the nice smell of laundry detergent coming off them. So 100% improvement on that situation. I don't use it at other times as my rooms aren't generally humid as the house is fairly new. Very portable so I could use it in other rooms around my home, so I tried it in the bathroom after a long shower on an extension lead, leaving it near the entrance just behind the closed door. However, after three hours, the room felt even more humid than it did before I put the de humidifier in there. Sadly, this was the other reason I bought it for, so I won’t be able to use it for that and will have to resort to opening the window again making the room cold! I have used the de humidifier for about 9 laundry drying sessions, each about 12 hours long, and have collected more than a litre of water, as shown in the picture of the old tonic water bottle I washed out as these are easy to clean out to save the water in, as the rest of it I have used in my iron, as it is, in fact, an impure form of distilled water, suitable for situations like ironing (although I don’t recommend you use it for your car battery!). This means I am now going to have more water for ironing than I need so I don’t have to go to the local hardware store to buy it in bottles, as it’s better to use distilled water in irons than tap water that can really lime scale your iron’s small pipes up. In conclusion this is a great little unit for medium sized rooms where humidity is a little high and something is needed to extract the water. Free ironing water, low noise even when I’m sleeping at night, low power cheap to run, and the cord is detachable for easier storage. Even has a convenient groove in the back for carrying it with. Pictures : Back, front showing height next to airer, water collected in just 108 hours, Movie : Low sound whilst operating.

Works superbly
Absolutely brilliant little machine. So quiet but does it's job. Collects water from the atmosphere. Has helped so much with the damp in our smallest bedroom. Easy to empty too

Warning: Fire Hazard.
I bought this at the end of November 2016 for our dining room as the kitchen adjoins it and we hoped it would reduce the condensation on the UPVC French windows overnight. We only use it in for some of the winter months and then it is cleaned up and stored in the cupboard under the stairs. So we only used it Nov, Dec, 2016 and Jan, Feb 2017 AND same 2017/18. We got it out the other day to put in into as the condensation is starting to build up....and I am pretty shocked quite frankly. Well shocked doesn't begin to describe it actually. We switch the unit on overnight - from about midnight to 6am - and then turn it off when we get up, and it's off for the rest of the day. Well that's what we did last year. However, the first night we put it I went to bed but two hours later came down for some water and I could smell burning immediately as I opened the living room door. Strong smell. Lights went on, walked through to back room (dining room) and could see smoke coming from the dehumidifier. I immediately yanked the plug out. You can see from the images that the plastic cover inside was burning and the on/of circuit board switch is totally burnt out and the wire burnt and detached. So my wife and I are left wondering what may have happened if I hadn't gone down for more water. I very rarely do! I cannot find a way of getting hold of the company that sold this to me through Amazon so I am posting this warning here. This is the Pro Breeze with the black power block sold by One Retail Group through Amazon. I looked through the reviews and have noticed someone else's caught fire as well. --update 28/11/2018 After scouring every review for this product, and the comments, I eventually found a contact email for someone at One Retail Group...so I used that address to report this issue. I was contacted within 48 hours by someone at One Retail Group and then offered a refund or replacement. I was initially set on a refund but instead asked for a replacement on the condition that they were sure that the products were safe now. A replacement product was promptly dispatched and I received it 48 hours later, so I took that to mean that they were absolutely sure it was safe now. For your information: the replacement looks EXACTLY the same as the first one, EXCEPT for one very important difference: it does NOT have a big black power block. Instead the unit has a power lead and that it plugs directly into the mains. So I am guessing that the absence of the big power block is pointing towards the power block being the issue. Indeed, on refection, I do recall touching the block once and it felt very hot. And, looking through the reviews here I can see a good number of photos of melted power blocks and reports of the block not working. It is important to me that I provide a fair and balanced review. On that basis, I will say that I am very pleased that this company - once I had uncovered a contact email for them - responded quickly and professionally to my email to report this problem. They dealt with the matter without any nonsense or hesitation, and the replacement product they sent out has been running for over 100 hours continuously and it isn't even warm: I chose to 'run it in' to make certain it was okay for my own peace of mind. It seems very clear that whatever problems the last 'version' had seem to have been eradicated in this version without the power block. My advice to anyone having any issues with this product is to contact the company directly. I contacted Ali Noori, the customer service contact using the email address [email protected]. They were very professional and accommodating and resolved the matter without any fuss. As a note, I do not feel it would be appropriate for me to remove my original review given the nature of what occurred. However, I do think it is entirely proper and fair to let people know how One Retail Group dealt with this issue when I contacted them and to especially highlight their professional response and readiness to resolve the issue quickly and without fuss.

Works flawlessly for 2 years, then sounds like a mini chainsaw.
Final Update... Unfortunately this has now run into a problem, I purchased it in 2018 and now in 2020 just out of warranty it now when full up and has cut off to the yellow light to empty, every time now when replacing the water tank it sounds like a mini chainsaw. Contacted ProBreeze and they said it might need cleaning, so I vacuumed the front inlet grill and outlet back grill. Weirdly it worked and then the next time it did the same. Like another review has said unless you tap whack it like an old Tube TV when the picture has had it maybe it might work but I wouldn’t recommend it. I went to the final repair and opened it up with all power disconnected. The chipboard was all intact and the metal grill was clean and even going far to take off the main part to look at the fan the fan blades were also clean. My thoughts on this product it’s pretty decent and has been running for 2 years in my garage collecting 500ml every two weeks and no problems but unfortunately this product falls into the category of cheap electronics and works well but has a short lifespan. Whether or not it’s cheap parts or the fact it’s just built and programmed to last after two years and it’s the typical throw away society and buy a new one. Would I buy another, yes and no. There’s other brands on the market and really think for it just collecting water should of lasted longer. UPDATED... It’s been a whole week and I’m pleased to say it works perfectly, it’s captured 500ml from my garage and now shows a solid yellow light to say full. The motor cuts out and the power pack is left cool until the tank is emptied and then switched back on. Good for anyone buying this for the price to do the job however, should my single layered garage be giving this much humidity? Well I suppose the new houses made from rich tea biscuit walls and cheap breeze blocks without air bricks and a really slight gap on garage door I guess it would. This review is just having it on for one full day and I’m very surprised in the capture of the water vapour it has collected. My garage I like to keep my drum set in the canvas bags when not in use but only to find that a light mould growing on each bag! Of course using one of those big wipes or hippo wipes cleans it off but it always comes back. Hopefully, this dehumidifier should do the trick as my garage doesn’t have air bricks and the ventilation from the door really there isn’t any. It’s quite quiet but in a garage it’s not going to bother you at all. There are inlets on the front and on both sides of the unit and it vents out through the top. To empty just simply switch the power button off once it says full with the light indicator next to it and take the tank out and pull the black plug gently and pour outside. Last of all, the plug is a UK 3 pin but is attached to a full size power pack with about a metre of cable to the unit. You can see from the picture attached it has collected quite a bit in just one day.

Great dehumidifier, fit for our purpose
Brilliant device. Had it for 2 years now and it’s been a great machine. Has been diligently on almost 24/7 and not had any issues with it. It stops once it fills up. Very easy to tip the water out. Very good and pulling moisture from air, placed it in areas we need it the most. Obviously it is small so it will only do so much depending on the area you’re trying to affect, but take that into consideration, we ended buying two and that works for us!

Have it on all the time now, it seems to work
I had a problem corner of a room which had water dripping from the wall when cold. After a few days/nights of having this dehumidifier on constantly, though not gone completely, there is still a tiny cold patch wich persists, it no longer covers the whole wall. I keep it on all the time to keep on top of it. Out of curiosity, I turned the unit off for a few days to see of it was just coincidence, but the cold spot started to worsen again, so the unit was defintely having an effect. I believe it also helps having it on whilst I am drying laundry inside, nothing amazing as it's only a dinky unit but every little helps with indoor drying; the water seems to fill a little bit quicker. The noise level is okay, I only notice it when I am in the room my humidifier is in or when my house is completely quiet (no TV or music playing) and it's a constant sound, so easy to tune out after a bit. I find that it does not make too much of a difference if it needs to be switched off for a few hours if you need complete silence. The unit, though not the most attractive thing in the world is very small and can be shoved in a corner or under something if desired. The cable is decently long if it needs to be put a little bit away from a plug socket. The water is very easy to empty, just pull out the drawer when the indicator light tells you it's full (the unit will stop automatically) and empty into the sink, then slide back into the unit. Though it does sometimes take a little awkward wiggle to get back in. Brilliant little unit, will definitely be buying another in the future for another problem spot.

Male
Arrivato con nastro adesivo che teneva la scatola evidentemente già aperta e anche l'articolo dava l'impressione di essere stato quanto meno esposto o comunque disimballato

Good price for a good humidifier
Not bad for the price. You will need to go bigger and pay more if you need a quicker result or alot of moisture in your camper van. But overall... happy.

fonctionnel
C'est déjà le deuxième que j’achète. Techno simple et fiable (module Peltier) fonctionnement assez silencieux...Le seul Hic est que j'aurai souhaité une prise secteur de "chez nous" et pas une britanique !

Small, quiet and efficient!
I am quite impressed - it's a small, light machine - since I have plugged it in 1hr ago already collected quite some moisture! I have a 1bedroom flat and I think it will be enough. For better efficiency- I close the room where it's working. It's quiet in my opinion - good quality built. It is dramatically missing a handle or a way to easily grab it. I definitely recommend it.
