A pull-buoy that stays in place - exactly what I wanted
I have an old speedo pull-buoy, that's a similar foam construction, but is narrower on one side. It's probably intended to be made that way, and it worked ok on frontcrawl, but would gradually slip out of position and after swimming about 200m I would have to reset its position before continuing to swim. It was even worse when switching frontcrawl to backstroke because with the small end underneath the legs, it didn't stay in position well at all. So I looked for a pull-buoy which doesn't have a wide and narrow end, and would stay in place during extended swim sets, including when switching strokes. Having bought this and tried it out, I can say it's the best pull-buoy I have owned. It stays in place between the upper thighs, and I swam upwards of 800m without having to adjust it. In fact, it stayed in place until I finished the whole set. I'm not sure why it stays in place so well, but it seems to have a thicker construction through the middle, which makes it easier to grip with the thighs. If you have similar issues with your pull-buoy slipping out of position, or just need a new pull-buoy, then I recommend this product.

Comfortable and good buoyancy
I got the adult version as I'm 6ft 2 and about 14 st. I used this for the first time today, never having used a pull buoy before, and found it really helpful. It had sufficient buoyancy to allow me to concentrate only on my breathing and arm stroke. I found it very comfortable and stayed in place without any effort. I will also try using it in place of my normal kick-board as it provides just enough support to allow other uses. As I've never used a pull buoy before, I cannot comment on its relative merits. However, I am very pleased with it and would recommend it.

Great pull buoy buy my first came apart
This is my second Pull Buoy of this make. It is a great shape and works really well. It loses a star as one of the layers fell off after 12 months and so got another.

Great swim float
Bought this as I have a running injury and have to rest my legs so swimming with arms only. Very comfortable to use, stays between thighs without effort (no squeezing required). Appropriate size (I am a light 5'2"). Main reason I chose this brand over others was the nice bright colours - hard to lose! Recommend.

Angenehm an den Oberschenkeln, da gut zu greifen und tut nicht weh. Auch schön breiter. Andere haben vielleicht weniger Strömungswiderstand, aber das ist mir schnurz.

I'm a self-taught lousy swimmer, and wannabe triathlete. I joined a Master's Club to improve my technique. Little did I know that a pull buoy would be required as well as flippers and paddles. I was only used to the cheap poolside ones, so my thoughts about this training aid was limited. The reviews for the Finis pull buoy looked promising and I went ahead and ordered it, despite there being other cheaper alternatives. I'm a firm believer that cheap ends up expensive most of the time. Also, knowing the damage that chlorine does was a huge concern for me. I wanted a training tool to last me for a good long time. I found it initially large when I received it. Being a triathlete meant having bigger and heavier than normal legs, meaning that my legs sink when I swim. The large Finis pull buoy fit between my thighs comfortably and I wasn't forced to squeeze hard on it to keep it in place. It is large enough to support my legs and hold them closer to the water's surface. We also use the pull buoys at the ankles and it fit nice and secure there, too. After about a month of use in the pool and always rinsing it out with cold water, it still looks brand new. I don't know much else to say about this training tool except that it is high quality, it does its job (and does it well). It's a pull buoy!
