Perfect wardrobe
This is my third Songmics wardrobe/shoe holder I have bought and built. They are simple to put together as long as you line up your parts in order of size, so you don't grab the wrong bar, AND you read and follow instructions/images carefully. You must make sure you push each bar into the plastic connector firmly so it goes in to the very bottom. This ensures the wardrobe frame will be level and strong and that the cover will slot on at the end, with no problems. The material WILL rip if you pull too hard, but when the wardrobe is built and filled with clothing, the cover has a bit of 'give' in it so any bulky item of clothing won't cause it to burst at a seam. I have crammed a huge amount of clothes on the rails and they are still level - no bending or warping. The only issue I have, is the shelf above the hanging rail, is RIGHT on top of the rail, resting on it actually, so that means you have to lift it a little to get hangers on and off the rail. (I need to try and put in something to raise the shelf above the rail, about an inch or so, in order to add and remove hangers with ease.) There are gaps all over the 'shelves' because the material of the shelf does not reach the very edges of the poles. And the same with the 'floor' of the wardrobe - I am sure spiders will be able to crawl in, so I got a piece of thin wood, the exact size of the bottom of the wardrobe, and placed that in there like a floor. No spiders so far. My husband kindly attached the two zips at the centre of the wardrobe to a piece of wooden dowel (like a perch in a bird cage) and so I can pull up and down two zips with one 'handle' - it works perfectly! And I don't have to hold the bottom of the door beside the zip, in order to pull the zip up. Older wooden wardrobes we had left clothing a bit musty as the backing had gotten damp and mould on it that we could not see, but we sure could smell. These newer fabric wardrobes eliminate that problem perfectly as clothes in there have plenty of vented airflow around them. Son, aged 20, loves this wardrobe and loves the fact that the wardrobe can (in the near future) be taken apart and rebuilt in his new digs, whenever he moves out! The wardrobes look exactly like the images, except the cover is folded in shipping and so, one 'door' will have a deep crease down it which will prevent it from hanging down straight, but it will still zip up and down fine. It just looks ugly with the crease. I might try to steam clean the crease out but not sure how the material will handle heat! Daughter, aged 18 loves this wardrobe and the bright cream colour brightens the room too. I put an old wardrobe door on top of this wardrobe to act like a shelf and it's holding loads of folded blankets and a large container of camping accessories - no warping or structural problems after a few weeks - they are built to hold weight! When I build my built in wardrobe next year, I will use these wardrobes without the covers, as the internal parts. They are fab.

Really sturdy and lots of storage and a great price
I bought this unit to replace old work out wardrobes that have seen better days. For the cost of this new unit. I know some people will be sceptical about its quality but took a gamble and bought this. Construction was quite easy as familiar with assembling furniture but skill level for assembling this is reasonably easy. Instructions were easy to read, and diagrams were detailed on how to start the assembly. Knowing me I made a few errors on assembly as already had an idea how to do this but got a little carried away. But managed to correct the error simply without any hassle so if you do make a mistake on what goes where, it is very simple to undo. With the shelves, as these are fabric, do not put extremely heavy items on these as obviously these will fail, but each shelf can take some weight. Assembling these were easy. But once the whole unit is assembled. It is very sturdy but would not advise kids using it as a climbing frame as it will not end well. But it is quite strong to store clothing and plenty of space to clothing items. With the empty shelves I am going to add some containers so can store other items and the space on each shelf can pretty much hold a storage of 40 cm deep by 30 cm wide and 30 cm high and probably have some room to ensure they fit. But in general, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a cheap alternative storage option.

Not bad
Easy to assemble and can hold lighter items such as shirts, trousers etc. Couldnt hold heavy coats but we weren't using it for that reason anyway. Probably more suited to men who usually have fewer clothes than women. Shelves are useful and relatively strong, could hold a few bottles of aftershave etc It also looks more sleek than you'd expect from a cloth wardrobe. The price is fair.

Bargain! Amazing quality considering the cost!
TLDR; Absolutely brilliant! Cheap, durable and stores a LOT of my clothing and various items! would 100% recommend, and would purchase again should I need another wardrobe! I recently (about 2-3 weeks ago) bought a wardrobe for over £200+ from another warehouse style store, and it didn't last 5 minutes. I was refused a refund, so came to look on Amazon. I was recommended a similar wardrobe to this one by a buddy of mine who lives in The US. I was hesitant at first, seeing that it was less than £40. I had something similar to this before I decided a new one (that one was also from the first place I mentioned - which I won't ever be returning to!) I decided to go for it, and though if it only lasts me a month, it wasn't much. It arrived on time and was packaged securely. The box was small so I was thinking the worst. I got all the parts out on my kitchen table, and to my relief found all parts present and accounted for. The instructions were clear, and gave diagrams to refer to. The build itself took me 30 minutes tops! The hardest part was remembering which side to put the fabric shelves/which side to have facing up. I did the build in stages, building the bottom part, taking it up and placing it where I wanted it, then the middle and the same for the top. My only complaint, which is a minor one, is that the clothing rails are very high, so anything you hang or take off the rail, scrapes against the bottom of the top shelf, but it (so far) hasn't affected the shelf or the rail. It balances well due to the 2 wardrobe bits being on each side, and holds a lot of clothing! The shelves equally hold as much, and the bottom of mine holds plastic boxes filled with tat! Very impressed with this wardrobe, and would highly recommend! I left it 24 hours without anything on just to make sure it stood (as I couldn't say the same as the one from the other store!) and 3 weeks later it's still standing strong. I waited some time to leave a review just to make sure it was still the case, and it sure is. Would definitely buy again if the need arose for a second wardrobe!

It also saved me from my ceiling
I was moving into a new flat and was on a budget, I search for hours to find something that was value for money or second hand but this was still the best deal. I went to argos and there was no wardrobe as big as this or as cheap. So this is definitely a bargain. Lots of spare parts to it as well and so easy to assemble. Everything is labelled clearly with clear picture instructions. The canvas is also alot sturdier than I thought as I put heavy boxes on them. At one point I also stored my king sized duvet at the top with some pillows and it didn't collapse under the weight. I also had to move it at some point and taking a few heavy boxes off, me and a friend manage to move it with all my clothes still in and it stayed intact and solid. Another point and why I gave it five stars was the fact my ceiling collapsed, I woke to thinking what I thought was a magnitude 5 earthquake. But thanks to the flexibility of how this wardrobe was built, it swayed like bamboo and dissipated most of the energy, I thought it would've collapsed and fell on top of me as I sleep right next to it on a futon and saw my wardrobe swing further than the leaning tower of pisa and stretched at more than a 60 degree angle. I thought, this was it, it's going to fall. But instead it just jiggled like a jelly and went back to standing strong and straight. I was in shock and went back to sleep as this was at 5:55am and when I woke up I found the extent of the damage of the ceiling and as you can see from the photo attached, despite all that weight swinging with force, it still held on and the canvas part actually still stayed intact without a rip. If that isnt proof of sturdiness and flexibility I don't know what is.

A product with 6 star potential
Before buying this product, I had a look at the reviews, and my tendency (like perhaps most of you) is to check out the bad reviews first, which I did. Then I read the good ones and on balance, decided to give it a go anyway. Delivery: The product originates somewhere in mainland Europe and comes via Brussels, then Surrey before hitting Ireland, and I was able to track it all along. However, it did arrive well before the promised date. Packaging: It comes in a cuboidal cardboard box, roughly 3' X 2' X 10 cm thick, feels quite light and was easy to transport from where I received it to my home. Assembly: The parcel contains a sheet with clearly printed part identifiers and a pictographic illustration of which part goes where, however, there is no elaborate prose as such; but it is highly intuitive, sort of a fun project to do on a free evening, no more difficult than doing a simple 20 piece 2D-puzzle. I honestly can't understand those who are moaning about the lack of instructions, but honestly, you dont need any instructions to put this together in excess of what is provided. Just watch the image, then keep clicking that part and the correct joiner in place and build it up from scratch, it really is that simple! Using the very basic of common sense, even an 8th grader should be able to build it up. Quality: Top Class (relative to the money spent, of course!) I mean, it is just about 30 bucks, what do people mean when they say poor quality? Are they expecting a Rolls Royce at that price? The quality, relative to the price is actually so good that one starts to feel guilty that they are getting so much for that little. Now this is where I would like to suggest, if the manufacturer can make the same product with thicker gauge better pipes and more solid joiners (the canvas fabric quality is wonderful), I would happily pay an extra 20 pounds for it, still, at the current price, it did exceed my expectations. I am uploading a picture of the built unit, and just check out how much weight it is already holding on top. Since that, it has been filled with 5 heavy men's suits for a big and tall person, a heavy turkish house-coat/bathrobe, a good few heavy denim trousers and shirts, my entire collection of socks, underwear, spare towels, an extra memory foam pillow, pyjamas, T-shirts, empty plastic containers, a headphone, a hairdryer and still it is solid. I cant see how people can claim that it doesn't hold much weight. Exactly what were they trying to fill in it? Sacks of coal? And here is the best part, the manufacturer knows that people might break one or two joiners when assembling it the first time, so they actually pack a spare 2 joiners (one of each type). Even I snapped one, trying to build it, as the caanvas is very taut, hence, you have to really pull the pipes apart with a lot of force to join it, and this can cause one to break. Had the supplier/manufacturer not packed those extra 2 joiners, I would have really got stuck and perhaps even given it 2 stars, but this made all the difference! The assembled unit is very light weight, relative to its size and capacity. I was almost about to give it 5 stars, but stopped short, as I feel, they could have made the plastic joiners stronger, even if that meant charging more.
