Does this paint to be heated up or can it be painted straight on to the surface?

It is applied straight from the tin and not heated up. It will take a few hours to dry which could be a problem if people or cars go over it before it is dry.

Can this be used on floor tiles?

I have not used it on tiles my self but I have used it on Lino floor covering to mark out the lines on a badminton court and it has been very hard wearing John Nicol

can it be painted on wood?

How many coats should I use to paint a light traffic road yellow line? And how long should I wait between applying coats?

I have found the best way is to load up a 1 inch brush with the paint then pat the surface with the side of the brush with the end of the brush on the outer edge of the line doing one edge at a time. Only pat with the side of the brush getting on enough paint to do the line in one go. There should be no need to do it again if you get enough paint on the first time. Also, in summer time, do it when the ground is cold. You don't want the paint drying as it is put on. Early morning is good.
