Can you leave these in the freezer all the time without it being detrimental to the product?

I have owned one of these for 4 years and have kept it in the freezer the entire time without any issues

When heated, how long does it stay warm for?

Hi in reply to you question regarding heated use of the Koolpak. The duration will depend on how long you heat it for in the first instance but I would advise not to be tempted to leave in the microwave for too long as I was as it will burst. (not a fault with the product just my own stupidity). The instruction given are quiet sufficient and I would advise that these are followed to ensure correct heating of the pack. I mention this as if you have been used to heating grain type packs it might be a temptation to heat it for too long,The instructions given advise using for just 20 mins per session and it will last well beyond that for comfort use.It should be remembered the an object heated will loose heat quicker relatively speaking compared to something that's chilled and my experience is that ice packs are more effective. This however depends on where on the body it's intended use will be and how you feel about ice packs. I found the Koolpak an excellent product and I hope this reply has been some help to you
