Dudu Osun Tropical African Black Soap, 6 x 150g

"Black African Soap" with a strange name (Dudu Osun)... but works great. Probably the best soap I've used.Every single other soap I've used makes my skin go dry, then flaking and itching... if it was just the discomfort, then fine, but cosmetically it makes my face look bad too. If that wasn't enough, then, the stripping of skin oils by the soap makes my skin produce MORE oil so I am dependent on the soap since I need to use it pretty much the next day or else my whole face is greasy. Repeat and that's been my life since mid-puberty.Came across this thanks to a Youtuber ("Selfmaxxer") and I'm grateful to him for this recommendation.Now, what's great about THIS soap? It doesn't dry the skin. No flaking. No itching. No excessive oil/sebum production next day after using it. Probably because it doesn't have all the chemicals the "normal" soaps have. To top of off, it reduces pigmentation due to acne and so on, too (albeit just a small bit).The smell is nice from the Aloe Vera, lathers just like conventional soaps and the cleaning effect is just as good I'd say. I didn't notice any difference at all. This is definitely my go to soap for life now.Also, due to the lack of extra oil production due to the soap, I don't need to use it EVERY SINGLE DAY. I only use it once or twice a week, so saves cost as well.

I hope this helps somebody interested in Dudu Osun to treat skin issues.I'm a mid 30s white man with longstanding skin/health issues, have tried loads of things, including various steroid creams on prescription from a UK doctor, even the stronger ones not working.I was a little hesitant, but had nothing to lose. Most info I found was on YouTube and Amazon was around use as a regular soap by mostly black/African people, and a few people saying this may harm/dry your skin so I was unsure..What I did:I opened the pack of six, these bars have a scratch of serial number to prove they are authentic.I washed my sore scaly hands (with open cuts) in cold water. Yes, it stings a little but so does regular soap.The soap gets a really thick lather, and I think smells good. I wash thouroghly, and repeat each time I go to the bathroom/need to wash hands. In total, day one I used approx 8-10 times. After most washes, I use Cetraben/Aqueous cream, but not all. At night, THE TERRIBLE ITCHING HAS STOPPED SOMEHOW.Day two, after a great sleep, I notice some results already, scaly area reduces, flaky area subsiding. I'm really shocked, and incredibly happy. I continue to wash many times a day, creaming hands after most times. I'm super happy. Hands look better, and I'm a lot happier. It's still there but I get far less skin rubbing off when I rub together. PEOPLE NOTICE THE CHANGE ALREADY!Day three, my hands look almost normal, skin tone is evening on what used to be big patches of angry red scales/flakes. The itching still hasnt come back to amything like how it was before, and I can bend all fingers without discomfort, for the FIRST TIME IN OVER A YEAR. I'm astounded at how good this soap has been for me. I'm shocked and delighed, and am using my new found finger dexterity to post this review, in the hope it helps someone else, especially someone on the fence about trying. ALL THIS IN THREE DAYS ONLY!Oh, as a BONUS, it also cured my dandruff and itchy scalp, as I'm using it as a shampoo/shower bar too.. I think it's even curing the scars and spots on my upper body.This stuff is AMAZING, I'm so very happy with my "Juj" soap. Please do try this if you have skin issues that won't go away. Buy it for people you know with skin issues. Buy it even if you don't have issues just because it's great.

Helped a lot with my rash, smells clean and fresh and lathers up really well. Everyone in my family using it now and even the non eczema ones, leaves skin lovely.

Great soap for my face

I had some issues with my skin and this cleared things right up. It simply had my skin feeling smooth and hydrated.

Took a few days to be delivered... but this is such a great soap for clearing the skin of acne and other blemishes. I've never found anything to work so effectively. It makes your skin feel squeaky clean more than anything else I've ever used. This is now my families only product for washing the skin... no more shower gels or other products... this soap shows there must be toxins of some kind in other products that have bee effecting mine and my kids skin for years. So crazy how 1 tiktok video can let you know there is a solution you've never heard of before. I couldn't recommend this product enough. Even my kids refuse to use anything else now.

Good quality and just what i expected

I have used african black soap a number of times and although really good found it went soft and gooey. This soap seems firmer/harder. It also smells nice. I am 45 fair skinned woman trying to reduce my impact on the environment. This soap is lovely, I use it in the shower, on my face and my shoulder length hair (I follow with conditioner bar and/or dilute vinegar rinse). It leaves you feeling clean but not dry. It lathers really well, but can leave grey/brown residue on the bath if you dont rinse thoroughly (not a major problem though). I am really pleased and now get it on subscription! I no longer have plastic bottles of shampoo, shower gel etc cluttering my bathroom.Highly recommend it, it's no miracle worker, but my skin and hair feel clean and fresh with no nasty effects.
