Shea moisture Organic African Black Soap Bar with Shea Butter, 8oz

I didn't want to write a review until i had tested this out for a while. So i have been using this twice a day for 2 weeks now and it is the best thing ever. I don't like liquorice but to be honest it smells beautiful but if you dont like it, don't worry because the smell doesn't linger after you was your face. Now i have extremely allergy prone skin and have been having some really bad reactions to almost everything. This has been a massive help. Honestly, get rid of all your experience face washes and use this. It is much more natural and it doesn't irritate your skin one bit. The bar is huge and after 2 weeks of continuous use it doesn't even look like it has shrunk at all so will definitely last a while. The delivery was basically the next day which was really impressive for free delivery. The only two products i know use on my face (except for makeup now and then) is plain yoghurt with tumeric as a face mask. And this twice a day everyday.

I'm dark skinned and since I started using this soap I noticed it's maintained my skin colour. It's also a big bar and can last for about 2 months or more depending on storage and how frequent it is used.

I like to use natural skincare products and I found this one very good; moisturising and certainly helped with my sons' teenage spots (as I find most natural products do) it didn't have a discernable smell and lathered up nicely. The only issue I have with this is the considerable mess it makes. The lather is brown and gets everywhere. When left at the side of the bath it ran down and looks terrible, although it doesn't stain. I will buy again but use a deep soap dish for storage.

This stuff is brilliant, removes 100% of face make up and, if used carefully over closed eyes, takes off 95% of mascara (but not the waterproof kind) so I use coconut oil as make up remover first. I also use this as my only body shower product (great for shaving legs too) and my skin is glowing and not irritated (I have ezcema) at all. My blemishes (sunspots&freckles) are fading and my face is so soft after 3 months of morning and nightly use. This stuff is such a well kept beauty secret! Note: I recommend cutting the main block into a few inchxinch smaller bars (storing the rest in a cool dry place inside a sandwich bag - keeping the one I'm using in a suspended soap tray (to dry after use). I have the rest of the blocks individually plastic wrapped each, as the soap tends to crack and disintegrate if exposed to too much water and of course; to use, lather it in your hands first, so as not to scratch your face with any present natural debris (cocoa nibs). First and foremost, this is DEFINITELY not authentic african black soap. (I saw this on arrival of the product but decided to give it a try anyway) I normally have pretty good skin apart from around my cheeks and occasionally on my chin. However, a few days after first using it, this soap was causing my whole face to break out! I thought the product might just be purging my skin (as the authentic version sometimes does) However, it then started to produce large, cyst like acne under the surface of my skin which I took as a warning sign to stop using it!! 2 days after I have stopped using the soap my skin has begun to heal (thank god) given 3 stars because it did leave my skin feeling very clean, and would probably be a good product for a different skin type to mine

Omg!! I know a few people said “this isn’t the REAL African black soap” but I thought I know this brand and as a newbie to this, I felt safe ordering it and I’m sooooo sooo glad I did - ever since I’ve been on my contraceptive pill (about 4 years now) my skin went mental and i now suffer from adult hormonal acne - I’ve tried millions of regimes, diets and products and spend hundreds but Sadly have never gotten amazing results - I decided to go back to my roots and had see many girls of my ethnicity raving about this soap and how it “cured” acne and so I decided to test this in my cleansing routine and within a week of using this my skin for the first time in years looks amazing and smooth - the dark spots and bumps are fading and my skin overall looks healthy and I’ve gotten many compliments on how it looks glowy now too! Some tips / facts for anyone who wants to buy this: 1. It smells amazing 2. Cut it up into dices as it’s a fat bar and you don’t need to use it all and it will last forever 3. As it’s quite strong - I use it once every night followed by a small amount of tea tree face wash 4. This bar will last a long time Overall this is 10/10 and I hope it carry’s on working for me! I was pretty sceptical of this product. Gave it a shot after seeing the reviews and in desperation to help my skin. My face, chest and back having scars from spots and my constant picking. Within 3 days there's was a noticeable difference. Spots had dried out, scars had lightened. It has even 2 weeks now and nearly all my spots are gone, scars lighten. Spots appearing SIGNIFICANTLY reduced, smaller and less angry when they do occur. The soap does dry out the skin however, it is not harsh. It's now apart of my routine and will continue to buy and recommend. Wish I took before and after pics

Sale care pero utilizo una pastilla al año. Es un todo en uno para la ducha, cuerpo y pelo sin problemas. Aunque el cabello solo lo limpio con jabón una vez a la semana o así. Huele cremoso, a todo el mundo que coge la pastilla y la huele le enamora.

Soap smells amazing not overpowering but really nice,I love a good smelling any thing, the bar is so big it’s will last a long time, it also lathers really well.Wish the soap itself was wrapped in the package but I’m happy with the purchase, and will purchase more.

Ich habe mir diese Seife nach langer Recherche von Erfahrungen bestellt, um meine eigenen Erfahrungen zu machen. Hier in Deutschland scheint das Produkt noch nicht ganz so weit verbreitet zu sein, denn ich habe größtenteils Amerikanische Bloggerposts etc. gefunden. Ich benutze diese Seife nun seit knapp zwei Wochen und arbeite sie mit einer elektronischen Gesichtsbürste ein und Pflege die Haut danach mit Aloe Vera Gel. Mein Hautbild hat sich stark verändert : feiner, reiner und nicht mehr so fettig. Die Haut fühlt sich sauber und gepflegt nach dem Waschen an. Der Duft erinnert irgendwie an Banane, aber keinesfalls unangenehm. Es scheint, als würde die Seife lange halten, da ich nach 2 Wochen täglicher Anwendung morgens und abends lediglich eine kleine Ecke des Stücks gebraucht habe. Klare KAUFEMPFEHLUNG !
