Meguiar's G17516EU Ultimate Quik Spray Wax 450ml Hydrophobic Polymer Technology

I’ve tried quite a few car wax products over the years, but this one has quickly become one of my favourites for quick maintenance between full details. What I like most is how incredibly quick and easy it is to apply. A couple of sprays per panel, a wipe with a microfiber cloth, and the car instantly looks refreshed. It’s perfect if you want to add protection and shine without spending hours applying traditional paste wax. The finish is excellent – it leaves a deep, glossy shine and the paint feels really slick afterwards. One of the biggest benefits is the hydrophobic effect. After applying it, water beads up and rolls off the paintwork very easily, which helps keep the car looking cleaner for longer.

I've been using this product for many years, and theres good reason for that. It's easy to apply, takes no time at all, and it does a fantastic job of protecting the paint and making the car gleam! Mine is black, but has a subtle metallic, so on close inspection you will also see blues and gold, but this is not discernible from a distance. Once this product is used you will see the colours in good light. It makes the clear coat gleam and helps reveal the paints true colours. Wet protection is also incredibly impressive. The rain just beads off. I've included pics that show the car after a drive in the rain and as you can see the rain is forming into droplets and not soaking into the paint. This keeps the car looking clean and tidy even in the wettest conditions. It's really mesmerising to look at when parked outside in the rain and you can watch the water trickle away in streams. Just as a side, I read that this product was not to be used on glass, but I apply it to my windows regardless and it has the same effect as on the paint. It buffs off easily without trace and again the water beads away. I even apply it to the windscreen which some will say is a definite no-no, but as long as you buff it off correctly with a very clean microfiber, its absolutely fine. My windscreen has never been so clean. All in all, I rate this 10/10. Perhaps a bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for and it lasts a long long time.

Really good ive tried a few and this by far out shines the others on the result and how well it weather's, it doesn't seem to give a horrible build up either. My car is 7 years old and looks brand new with this.

I can only review this item by comparing it to Turtle Wax Extreme Nano Tech Formula Speed Wax. Cons for both of them : 1. The worst sprays I've used in my life!!! Turtle Wax stop working completely after 10-15 sprays and Meguiar's must be the only spray in the world that gives 360 degrees of spray. With Meguiar it's impossible to spray in one direction and I used it in the summer with no wind at all. You spray once and you get it in your face, hands, up, down, back, front, it goes everywhere.... With Turtle Wax I used an empty spray bottle that I had bought for 1 € and next time I'll definitely use it with Meguiar. 2. The price is way to high. I use one bottle for one minicar and I wish it could be cheaper... Pros for Meguiar (cons for Turtle wax) 1. This is really hard wax. You can tell the difference immediately.That means that lasts longer between washes. But does it shine better or... brighter? Not so much. If I give Meguiar 10 in shine then the Turtle Wax is at 8. Not that big difference in shine. The same with resistance to wear. 10 for Meguiars and 8 for Turtle Wax. 2. With Meguiars you get a slightly "3D" effect on paint, it gives depth, but with Turtle Wax you get only shine, no depth. (Personally, I don't care that much for depth in paint but that is totally objective...) 3. The best thing of Meguiar is you can use it in plastics with no fear!!! No matter how much you use there is no problem whatsoever. Truly remarkable. Cons for Meguiar (pros for Turtle Wax) 1. This is really hard wax. Very difficult to apply, needs extra, extra, extra work. And I used it with a temperature at about 30 degrees in the shade. Needs a lot of time and a lot of work to go through the entire car. Exactly the opposite of what you except from an easy spray wax sollution. Does it pay back? Well, it does, but as I said, when you buy a spray wax your primary goal is easy to use. On the other had with Turtle Wax there is no problem at all, very smooth, easy to apply, no extra work with your cloth, it shines immediately. How I prefer to use them : 1. Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax once a year, in summer... 2. Turtle Wax Extreme Nano Tech Formula Speed Wax every month, as long as I can afford it...

Todo llegó perfecto,sin abrir y sin haber nada derramado por fuera del embase, pedí dos productos de diferentes propósitos y los dos llegaron perfectos como tiene que ser. Conozco los productos Meguiars porque son los que uso habitualmente, cada uno para lo que es, éste spray en concreto no lo había probado porque me parecía que sería tipo cera rápida, pero ha sido más que eso, deja un brillo impresionante casi como el (spray Meguiars insane Paint shine glosed), pero con la diferencia que éste no se vá tan rápido con los lavados ni con la lluvia normal, (el insane Paint si). Agitas el producto antes, y presionas una vez o dos el spray por panel sin exagerar, luego pasas el paño de micro fibra al instante y lo extiendes por todo como quieras por todo el panel, al mismo tiempo que casi se está secando, le das la vuelta al paño y acabas de secarlo del todo,inmediatamente notas un brillo espectacular, el producto parece muy aguado pero ha de ser así para no dejar marcas ni brillos raros de líneas como si dejan otros productos. *Que conste que la pintura también tiene que estar aceptable, y estar de haberle dado cera antes o en otras ocasiones al coche aunque fuese hace algun tiempo y supuestísiamente el coche lavado y seco, si se aplica en pinturas viejas, en mal estado, con barniz muy apagado color desgastado o nunca se le ha aplicado una cera o descontaminación al coche, el producto no rendirá en su 100% quizás ni al 50% de como quedaría realmente. El producto contiene unas pequeñas micras de cera también, pero no sustituye como aplicar una cera en pasta habitual, lo ideal es que el coche esté de haberle aplicado cera hace unos días o haberla aplicado antes cada cierto tiempo, lo lavas, lo secas, y si quieres mantener ese super brillo entre encerados sin volver a encerar porque no apetece, pues éste spray lo mantendrá como un espejo mientras tanto, cada cosa es para lo que es, el producto funciona muy bien, el brillo se puede ver en las imágenes.

Comprato prima di Natale , applicato il 23 dicembre su una BMW serie 1 Bianca M-Sport , quindi con profili neri . Veramente molto semplice e immediato da usare , consiglio prima di agitarlo un pò e poi utilizzarlo , assicuratevi di avere almeno 2 panni uno per passarlo e uno per asciugarlo così da non dover rigirare sempre il primo , perchè piano piano che lo utilizzerete si impregnerà e diventerà umido , MIRACCOMANDO utilizzato panni apporta non pelle di daino o micro fibra ma quelli per lucidare , morbidi al tatto e non secchi o che comunque vadano prima inumiditi . Consiglio prima di utilizzarlo un accurata pulizia della macchina e una completa asciugatura , non usatelo con la macchina ancora bagnata sarebbe inefficace . Onestamente la differenza prima e dopo averla applicato si nota tanto , prima al tatto la macchina è molto meno vellutata e se ci passare sopra la mano o il palmo della mano si nota una certa resistenza , dopo l’applicazione invece si sente un effetto velluto e cosa molta importante vi proteggerà la macchina quando piove , di certo non la renderà completamente repellente all’acqua questo è impossibile , ma vi assicuro che quando pioverà inizierete a notare la formazione di goccioline di acqua sulla macchina e se prenderete velocità queste spariranno . Veramente un ottimo prodotto , i soldi spesi li vale tutto sarebbe stato utile aggiungere anche dei panni , ma non si può avere tutto . Consigliato !! Utilizzato su una macchina con colore metallizzato e per parti (para urti posteriore) in plastica nera , e non ha lasciato nessun alone , lo utilizzerò anche su una macchina color canna di fucile e vedremo come si comporta comunque un 9 su 10 li merita tutti !!!
