We have an old cat who had an accident. After much washing we threw away our hall runner.. however the carpet still smelled. When the heating went on and the lingering odour became more apparent, my younger cat decided to add his smell to the carpet. No amount of washing and rinsing removed the smell. After much research and understanding that an enzyme based remover was the only option we purchased the miracle remover. We drenched the plasterboard, the skirting, the wooden shoe box the underlay and the floor. Left it to do it’s thing, then rinsed it off. The stuff smells of a minty Forrest, it’s very pungent and I would recommend that you have a window and/or door open when you do the initial spraying. The cat smell has gone, even from the plasterboard, which is simply fantastic because that was the most smelly bit. The minty Forrest smell remained quite strong for about 4 days and sometimes I thought I could still smell a faint cat wee odour. However we are two weeks on and both smells have gone. This product does what it says it will. I’m delighted that it actually worked. It is well worth the money, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. For the first time in months both cats have stopped sniffing around the accident site... so they are are the biggest advocates that this brand works.

This is the best company ever!!! Their customer service is second to none!... my puppy had been using my rug as a personal loo and would bring stinky toilet paws in from outside, I tried a leading brand to no avail however the first time I used the spray I used it on the carpet and floors and returned from work to find my house didn't smell like a dog urinal for the first time in months, it's smells minty (like toothpaste) however even if you don't like mint it is 1000% better than the smell of wee and it does get rid of the smell not just mask it,I have a very sensitive sense of smell and there is no underlying pong, even though my dog is now housetrained as he is long haired he still brings in smelly wee feet so I still use it, I also sprayed it on the patio and it did the job, no waft of poo from outside....I have purchased the carpet cleaner also and will leave a review once I have had time to get the machine out.... I will 100% purchase from this company again....well priced products that work!! Amazing customer service and after sales what's not to like!

I was ready to throw out a 12x10 Chinese wool rug as nothing stopped the smell from my Dog. He repeatedly returned, despite supervision, and added more so the ammonia smell built up and was dreadful. I even resorted to using polythene sheeting to block him but the smell just built up. ...a loosing battle. Well, as a last ditch try I used this over a couple of weeks on the top then a week later on the back and then repeated so it had opportunity to work then dry out....i was amazed. The rug is back in full use with no evidence of evil smells passing the direct nose test and the dog has not revisited for some months since I last sprayed. It might seem expensive to purchase on the face of it but it is so worth it and ultimately the cost is nothing given the cost of replacing a rug. It is simply wonderful not to have the stench that even steaming or bicarbonate of soda or washing powder could not touch Oh and the colour is back to pale green. I can not praise this enough.

I bought this to get rid of potential cat pee stains. I'm not sure whether they were cat pee stains. I know it says that it's safe for pets but I decided to use it while my cat was sleeping and closed off the area for half a day. A previous reviewer complained about their dog having an allergic reaction, so I didn't want to take a chance and spray the product while Bailey was in the room. It's been a couple of days since I used the product and Bailey has used her litter box more regularly (I have made other changes that may have helped). Wish I could be more positive but if those weren't pee stains then the product was an unnecessary purchase-no fault of the product, of course. The product smells pleasant but I still had to air the room out because the smell was quite intense and my chest felt a bit tight if I stayed in the room for too long. I'm giving this 4 stars because I'm not sure if the spray did work but that's only because I'm not sure what the stains were!

well this is a mixed review because .. It does work but has an extremely strong scent with it which can last almost as long as the cat urine smell. It can take days to get rid of the peppermint smell if you can not have the doors or windows open (which i cant or the cats would escape)

Fabulous stuff! A nice big bottle with decent spray mechanism, but most importantly it really does seem to work. I have a new puppy who had been to the toilet on a couple of occasions on our carpet. Although we had thoroughly cleaned it with anti-bacterial spray and with regular soap after, she continued to show a fondness for that spot and would sneak off to go to the toilet there when she got the chance. One application of this spray and she has never been back to that spot! The carpet is dark coloured and going in the skip shortly, so I can't really vouch for the stain removing power (as no stains were visible), but it obviously works well for odors. Some people have mentioned the smell of the spray itself. I don't *love* the scent, but I don't really enjoy the smell of antibacterial spray either. That said, it's not unpleasant and the smell dissipates quite quickly.

Whilst poorly, one of our cats was peeing in strange places. She peed in a holdall that had a swimsuit in it, we didn't find out for several days. Both the bag and the swimsuit resisted normal washing! Tried soaking the swimsuit in hot water, detergent, all sorts, the smell persisted. Was all set to throw it out but it's quite an expensive one... then we tried this.... NOTE that the four position nozzle has two "Off" positions and two *different* "On" positions. At first I was squirting separate patches with eeach squeeze, but I found with the nozzle rotated to the other open position, the pack produces a finer mist which more easily coats the whole garment. Left to soak in for ten minutes or so, then washed normally.... bingo! It will swim again! And this bottle should last years, so whilst I hope we have no future accidents, we now have this on the shelf if we do.

Our rescue cat weed on our carpet loads as she's very nervous, she then weed on our new rug. My husband used a rug doctor, vanish stain remover and steam cleaning and the smell lingered. I was worried I would have to throw the rug out or the carpet as the chemicals we used had set in etc Used this as a last ditch thinking it probably won't work as we've tried everything inc a rug dr! Well blow me down! It only bloody worked! It smells of fresh mint and citrus which is a nice change and my cat walked in ready to wee over it all, she took one sniff and backed out and went to use her box! I am so grateful for this product and will buy it and nothing else from now on

I had a brief problem with my cats urine marking certain areas of my living room. I thought I was going to have to pull out the carpet and seal the cement underneath to get rid of the smell. I didn't have to do that. I got the smell out but, it took some money, a LOT of Sunny & Honey product, time and hard work to fix the problem. A fresh smelling house is important to me. So it was worth it. This is what I did: If I was able to catch a fresh urine mark, I blotted the area with an absorbent cloth or paper towels and tried to soak up as much of the urine as possible. Then, I generously applied Sunny & Honey Enzyme Cleaner. On old or dried urine stains, I found that the enzyme cleaner worked best when I doused the carpet with enough product that it could soak in and reach the urine that was down deep in the carpet pad underneath. I let the enzymes work their magic for a couple of days . Then I shampooed the heck out of the entire carpet with Sunny & Honey Carpet Shampoo and Deodorizer. I let the carpet dry a few days. Then checked the carpet for any lingering urine smell. I re-applyed more enzyme cleaner where needed. Then waited again for the carpet dry. Lastly, I generously spread Glade Vanilla & Lavender carpet deodorizer on the carpet where the urine marking was and let it sit there for 24 hours before vacuuming it up. This took out the last faint lingering cat urine smell. My house and carpet look and smell great! I would recommend buying a Ultra Violet "black light" pet stain detector flashlight. I bought the TaoTronics 51 here on Amazon from Sunvalleytek. A UV black light illuminates the urine salts in the carpet. It helped me locate and treat all the dry urine marks I couldn't see. This is a lite fresh smelling product. The scent disappears quickly from the room in a day or so. I recommend using good ventilation when spraying this product. If your asthmatic consider wearing a mask. The fine mist in a confined place made both my son and I cough. This is a good product that saved my carpet and my sanity. I would buy it again. UPDATE: It's been a little over a month since I've applied Sunny and Honey's enzyme cleaner and carpet shampoo to my cat marked carpet. I found that the enzyme cleaner can attract dirt to the carpet if it is not rinsed well. I've had to re-rinse some spots. It can be a little difficult to completely rinse. Old cat urine is a really tough odor to eliminate. This product has worked well. The cat urine smell is gone 100% for everyone in the house - but me. I have a sensitive nose. On a warm day, I catch a faint whiff of cat urine and enzyme cleaner every once in a while. Still, it is 98% better than what it was! A solid product.

I LOVE this product it is super effective of removing stubborn odors and stains as well as being one if the best degreasers I've had the pleasure of using .I do not have pets however my cousin does of course I tell her to use it she bought this and a couple other items from sunny and hunny and the house went from cat spray alley to neutral to nothing . Now when a scented candle is lit you smell the candle and not the oud to alley cat scent . If you have issues w grease gunk and odor get this you will not have regrets.

First of all I love the fall spice scent! It's not very spicy but it is so nice to be able to choose something other than mint or floral. It is a little strong though but still a pleasant scent! We have a male cat that is neutered that sprays on things sometimes. We have tried everything to get him to stop. Medically he is fine, so we are assuming he smells the feral cats outside in the neighborhood that comes up to our doors sometimes. I have tried a lot of brands that claim to get rid of the urine odor and most of them don't work! So far this spray seems to clean the cat pee very well! Definitely works better than any other brand I've tried! I have only used it to clean up cat urine and cat throw up but it cleans the stains and the smell. I don't smell any cat urine after using this. I usually clean the area with it and then wipe it up and then spray it again on the area and let it sit for a while before I wipe it up again. My only complaint is our cat is still spraying. I'm assuming he can still smell the places where he has peed even though we can't. But that's just an assumption. He may still be spraying for other reasons. Overall this is my favorite spray to clean up cat urine now! I'll definitely recommend and repurchase.

Really glad for the inner seal! Got this in the mail today. The outer plastic was broken and the lid was halfway unscrewed. If it weren't there, that would have sucked. This is my second bottle, the rest of my review is glowing. Just a comment to the manufacturer to keep that inner seal for shipping. I'm going to be transparent here with our carpets, and mattress. I had a senior dog with CKD, and a puppy with giardia and coccidia who had trouble holding one end and eventually the other. Health issues made potty training much slower than usual. I've tried a dozen cleaners and was ready to give up and accept that they were ruined. Anyway, I WISH I took photos of this. I'm so used to cleaners not working that I didn't waste the time. I used this on a newer, white mattress our puppy had an accident on. He had very intense smelling urine, like boys tend to do. It not only got rid of the smell but it also cleaned the stain. I soaked it like others suggested and left it to dry with some fans in the room to help. The next day it was gone. My brother was taking the bed because I was moving. I told him of the stain and asked him to smell it since he doesn't have dogs and is pretty sensitive to smells. I wanted an unbiased review. I pointed out where it was, and he couldn't find it... and he tried. I've been using it on the carpet as well for new stains from the puppy and old stains from my senior dog with CKD. It eliminates them. The older stains I can still see a little discoloration, which isn't surprising, but the smell is still gone. I use the spot carpet cleaner to get up any wet spots, soak the area with the spray, scrub it a bit with the brush, use the carpet cleaner again to pull up excess. It suds when you scrub so I do add a bit of water from the sprayer end of the carpet cleaner (not much), let it pull up excess suds and put a fan on it to let it dry. I don't have it suck up all of the cleaner like I would with others to get it as dry as possible, so the cleaner can penetrate a bit deeper. I also let old stains sit for 2-3 minutes after spraying it the first time. Since old stains are not wet, I do soak it more. There was also one puppy poop stain hidden behind furniture that I found when our puppy had giardia and was pretty much going everywhere... and it cleaned that, too. I've seen some commenters say not to let it sit in a carpet cleaner because it eats away at it plastic. I have not had this issue, but I do dump and wash the container once a week and use the backflow valve to clean the hose. This is my second bottle so I'll try and get some before and after pics for the next stain I find and update my review later. I haven't noticed them coming back up like urine stains always do, either. Hope this helps someone.
