Series 2 Bagged Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner, BGBS2BA1GB, Black

I’m very happy with this Bosch vacuum cleaner. It has strong suction, works really well and is easy to use. The quality feels excellent and it does a great job of cleaning the house. I’m very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

I have owned quite a few vacuum cleaners over the years, some of which were good, and some terrible. This was to replace a Henry vacuum cleaner which finally gave up the ghost, and which I’d replaced the contacts in twice (a common flaw in the Henry, I believe) and which I wasn’t prepared to take apart again. This Bosch vacuum cleaner is fabulous, it is light, easy to manoeuvre, has excellent adjustable suction, and has a good cord rewind, a feature absent in the Henry (and the reason the Henry’s contacts wear out!). The motor also has a ten year guarantee which is an added bonus. I have no hesitation in saying that this is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used, with none of the annoyances I have encountered in similar cleaners in the past. It is great value for money, no noisier than any other vacuum, and has enough accessories to make cleaning easy. Recommended!

Although delivered on time as expected I had to leave it boxed and untouched as I had other priorities at that time. Now I have unboxed the vacuum cleaner I notice that the supposedly included crevice and unholstery nozzles were missing. Unfortunately this discovery was made outside the 14 return period so, I have to accept that this is my own fault for not checking the contents when the item arrived. This apart, I find the item is fit for the purpose that I purchased it for, i.e. cleaning the inside of my car. The crevice and upholstery tools would have made this job a little easier but that doesn't distract from it's 'fit for purpose' standing. If the tools had been included I would have gladly given this product 5 stars as it suits my needs. Buy if you want a cheap and reliable machine but, CHECK THE CONTENTS OF THE BOX AS SOON AS IT ARRIVES TO AVOUD DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!

Brilliant little vacuum .. excellent value for money as it picks up really well. I have a German shepherd dog so it’s got its work cut out!! Being light & compact makes it a joy to use. My only complaint is that the brush head could be better but I only need it occasionally so it’s not a big problem.

it's cheap and lightweight, which are pluses. However, I'm not particularly tall at 5ft 10inch and have to bend over too much using this vacuum as the wand is too short. Going to give up on it and buy something better (like a Sebo D2, or Henty James).

I was really pleased with vacuum. Did a lot of research, and finally chose this one the first one I looked at. Arrived on time and couldn't wait to try it out. The suction was very good, turned it down to minimum for our lounge carpet which has a quite deep plie and it vacuumed well slightly hard to push but not a problem. It is very light and has a very long cord. To add the icing on the cake so to speak we got a promotional discount. Very happy with my purchase. Would recommend 👍😊

Lighter, quieter, and more powerful than a 1600W I've had for decades. Unfortunately Bosch didn't put any rollers at the front of the vacuum foot, so anything above low power it just sucks itself down into carpets/rugs and digs in when pushing forwards. Doesn't matter whether you put the brush lever up or down, the suction power just seals it to the carpet and it can only be used in reverse. Neither is a very satisfying way to clean. Does do a decent job on hard floors. Would be a 5* product if it wasn't such physical effort to use on carpet due to the omission of a couple of 50p plastic wheels. Not up to the standard I expect from Bosch.

I purchased this as our old one broke. This is a nice hoover but the problem is that the head gets clogged so easily. I just gets blocked by anything and when I want to try and clear it there is no way to get to that point. I have to get a wire hanger and adapt it to try and clear the pipe. Also, the main hose doesn't click into the pipe. I just get held in with a tight fit but it means its really hard to get out. I'm not a fan and I'm going to try to return in
