What would I do without it!?
I bought this after 3 months of beginning my weight training. I was doing chest dips and pullups by holding a dumbell between my legs and the dumbell weight was getting a little too heavy for me to comfortably hold. So I looked up this product and gave it a try.Dips progress: On my first day I already improved in weight. I grabbed about 2 dumbell weights up from what I had been previously using on the dips. I had been using a 20Kg dumbell. First day with this I was able to use the 24Kg dumbell.Pullups progress: The next day I was using it to do pullups. I was using a 8Kg dumbell and upped it to 12.5Kg. While it was not really difficult to hold the 12.5Kg without the belt, it certainly made it more comfortable and one less thing to think about when preforming my sets.Comfort: I'm a very small build. I have a 29" waist and the belt fits no problem. If you run the chain through one of the loops first before tying it round a weight, it pulls itself firmly in place no problem. The chain even has room to loop around the dumbell fully to ensure it is held firmly in place. I would recommend using the dumbell over the plate simply because the dumbell is easier to stabilise with your legs while you're suspended in the air.Current progress: Well I've had this belt for 2 months now and my dips progress has gone through the roof. I'm on the 35Kg dumbell now. For a 64Kg guy, that's over half my weight! I simply wouldn't be able to perform dips with this weight without a belt like this. My pullups are still struggling. I'm using the 15Kg dumbell these days. Nothing to do with the belt. I'm just poor with pulling movements in comparison to pushing movements.Quality: The belt is very well made and there's no sign of any wear and tear on it. Can't fault this product in any way.

Perfect for weighted pull ups and still going strong.
Purchased to use in the gym for weighted pull ups and dips.Has allowed me to progressively overload my pull ups and dips perfectly. it has allowed me to make great advances in my training. The belt is comfortable and the chain is fine I have been using it over the year now and it still is great. I mainly use it once a week on back day and it can handle 30kg fine.great product.

Great overall, just needs more thought.
I am using this with kettlebells so do not suffer from the chain issues that so many have commented on. The belt is strong, well made, gives me complete confidence allowing me to concentrate on my reps and fits my frame perfectly. All the weight is on my hips so I am not hindered during my reps. The issue that I have with it is surrounding the faff when putting it on or changing the weight attached to it. The belt has D-rings with the chain permanently attached to one. A Karabiner is used to attach the other end of the chain to both D-rings. I have introduced a second Karabiner as this way the belt can be worn by connecting both D-rings together and fitting the second Karabiner to the loose end of the chain, it can then be looped through the weight and attached to the other D-ring. More thought should have gone into this by the manufacturer. I would recommend the belt to anyone wanting to up the ante in their pull-ups or dips. I was doing pull-ups and reverse pull-ups in sets of 12 reps and have now added a 16Kg kettlebell to fail on 8 reps... Can't wait to move through the rest of my kettlebells and enjoy the gains that are causing most of my clothes' sleeves to stretch.

wow factor
If you want to make an impression in the gym, this is the tool you need. However, I would suggest that you become competent in chins and dips using your own body-weight first or else you won't get off the ground. The belt is sturdy and comfortable, and if you use common sense the chain is plenty long enough. You DON'T need to clip the belt tight round your waist, it will hang off your hips. You DON'T need to use Olympic plates, a dumbbell is just as good. My gym has small dumbbells up to 22kg, which is ample for the task unless you want to develop herculean lats of monster proportion. If you leave the chain clipped across the belt, you can entwine the dumbbell by looping it within the chain a few times. This does mean it will be hanging around your 'gentleman (or lady) garden, but so what? I assume if you are into doing chins with extra weight, you won't mind a bit of inconvenience. The looks you get off other gym users are priceless. (Especially the t-shirt boys who just do chest and arms 5 days a week). Chin ups are the real deal. Man up!

Good Quality Equipment from RDX
As a Fitness Instructor I see many people using training equipment which doesn't last or doesn't perform to the standard they hope. This is a top notch belt. We purchased this for use with the heavy weights in our gym so the ability for a belt to be able to handle large weight on it, as well as staying comfortable, was paramount to us. This does the job, much like other RDX stuff we have bought in the past, great purchase would recommend. I write this review now at least six months after purchase and the item is still in peak condition, delivering every time we hit the gym with it.

Dips for life
Good quality. I think the chain could do with being twice as long so you can thread it differently. It's not hard to buy more chain or expensive.

Its very light and the belt feels strong.. (I've used it once for a 2hr weighted pullup session).. The Carabiner/ Clips arrived damaged and don't feel like theyr very strong.. but was at a good price and will do the job
