Collection Unisex Adults Watch A168WA

I've just dug this out of my drawer tonight and realised that I bought this 12 years ago... and yes it's still running on the same battery! Now I'll be honest, I very rarely wear this watch which probably helps battery longevity (e.g. not using watch functions and light). It's also much too small/light for my wrist (my daily is a 43mm auto so this Casio is tiny compared and feels it), however I can't knock the watch for this as it's a genuine retro classic and I hope they manufacture watches like this forever! As long you're happy with the smaller size, you can never go wrong with this watch, it's up there with the very best based on design, value, mass appeal and just utter retro coolness.

I've had a few Casio watches over the years and this one's been great great far. I bought this one around the end of October 2018 so coming up 3 years old at the time of writing this review. It looks nice and feels good enough on my wrist. The design hasn't changed much since it's release. I use this watch a fair ammount, its one of my 'general' watches I use and apart from a few scratches and marks, it's held up well. The waterproofing on the watch is good and has held up in the rain and whatnot. I will also add that the battery so far is still going strong although its supposed to last around 10 years. The timekeeping on the watch isn't bad, it's lost about 7 seconds of time over the last 6 months or so. The LCD is nice and clear to read too and the LED light is much better than the one on other models, I can see the time perfectly in the dark. I will say, the only criticisms I have are that it can get a little uncomfortable at times especially when the wrist strap catches the hairs on your arms and the clasp on mine has become a little dodgy over time. (It doesn't quite clasp as well anymore) Still, a great little watch for a good price! It has gone up in price since I bought it but not by a huge amount.

My G-shock started playing up so i ordered one of these as a stop gap... i must say tho I'm very impressed and may not bother getting a new G-shock at all. I was expecting the bracelet to be a hair puller but it's been near faultless, I also like how it can be infinitely adjusted unlike plastic or leather straps with their holes that always end up feeling too lose or too tight on my wrist. The light is a joy which really fires off a blue burst and as yet I can't say I've noticed any scratches or dents which is surprising due to my place of work. My only gripe is that compared to old Casio models of past they seem to have replaced the outer metal casing with a chromed 'plasticky' one, you wouldn't notice unless someone mentioned it but it does cheapen it a little.

It's just stupidly cheap for what you get. Solid, amazing quality, accurate, reliable, the battery is ridiculous, lasting 10 years plus before needing a replacement. Buy it for life, replace the battery once per decade, kind of a no brainer for the price. I know a guy with a watch collections worth over 30k, and his old digital Casio gets more wrist time than his Rolexs, Omegas or Cartiers. 5 stars all day.

I have an unhealthy physical attraction to this watch. I'll freely admit when it arrived today, that I opened the packet, and deeply inhaled the late seventies style packaging and warranty booklet such was my excitement - As I closed my eyes and cleared my head, I swear I could smell the early eighties. You see, as a child at the early stages of secondary school when these first came out, there was always that one rotund kid whose parents were able to afford the latest new-fangled technological advancements in horology. And whilst I returned from school holidays with the red LCD version of the early digital watches (where you had to press the button to illuminate the time), the overweight rich kid had this version. Scuppered again it seems. With my imitation Kickers on I got back on the bus that day dreaming of how, when I finally made my millions I'd be able to afford the next big thing - The calculator version. Not through greed or avarice mind - I just loved the futuristic qualities of this beauty. I'm certainly no millionaire, and doubt I'll ever be, but with the passing of time I'm finally there. Grab yourself one of these gems. They're now affordable to us mere plebian blue collar workers nowadays. I'm still not quite there yet mentally to progress to that next stage of Casio ownership, the calculator version, but maybe one day. For now they're for the fat children of diplomats and government whips - The important people of this world who the likes of you and I can only longingly stare at through the rainsoaked tinted glass of their limos, as they demand we desist from staring at them. Leggerissimo al polso, comodo da indossare tutto il giorno e con un design che sta bene praticamente con tutto. La qualità costruttiva è ottima per il prezzo: cinturino comodo, display chiaro e la classica illuminazione Casio che dà subito quell’effetto rétro iconico. Leggero, comodissimo da indossare e super versatile Per quello che costa è difficile trovare di meglio. Semplice, affidabile e senza tempo. Consigliatissimo!

■本体 初めてチプカシを買ってみたんですが、最初の印象は画像で見るよりかなりチープかなと感じましたが、すごいハマりそうです。 ホールはこれはこれでどこか未来感があるし、ベルトさえ違うものに変えたら色々楽しめそうです。チプカシ調べている内に色々欲しくなってしまって、最初はスタンダードっぽいこちらにしました。 A158やA164との大きな違いは背面のLEDライト？の部分だと思いますが、すごく見やすいです（画像）。 ただ、ライトが光る時間が短いというかボタンを押している間のみ光るという仕様になっています。7年寿命ということで節約してるのでしょうか。 ■サイズ調整 純正ベルトの調整はとても楽です。マイナスドライバーがあれば直ぐに変えられるので手軽で良かったです。

The A168WA has that timeless retro look that somehow works whether you’re going for “practical adult” or “1980s tech genius who knows the launch codes.” It’s lightweight, comfortable, easy to read, and has that simple, reliable Casio quality that has been making people feel oddly loyal to digital watches for decades. For the price, it’s a great deal. It looks good, works well, and has way more style than it has any right to at this price point. Once I got the proper replacement, I was really happy with it. Classic look, dependable quality, and affordable enough that you don’t have to treat it like a museum artifact.
