Suavecito Firme Strong Hold Pomade Medium Shine Water Based for Men 113g

When I stumbled onto this product, I was pulling my hair out trying to find a product that held my hair in place without having the shiny, hard finish of gel, and the greasy, weak finishes of waxes. The huge following of Suavecito on Amazon UK and US really appealed to me, as did the good video reviews on youtube that I saw, which encouraged me to take the plunge and pay the surprisingly high price for the product. Suavecito strong hold has a scent that some have said to have found overpowering, but I really like it! This is coming from someone who loves wearing perfumes such as joop and CK. My other half also said she liked the scent, which really put me at ease The first time I applied the product, the hold wasn't too great. But this was my fault as I was too conservative with how much I used. The next time I used it I applied more (about the size of a fingertip, and more to touch up if needed). Rubbing my hands together until the pomade melted, I rubbed it into the front and back of my hair, and combed it through. This is by far the best hair product I have ever used! It holds my hair firmly in place whilst maintaining the CRUCIAL benefit of being able to run my fingers through and restyle easily. This does add a little shine to your hair, but it is a subtle shine and not a greasy look which I have grown to like. Perhaps the best thing about this product compared to waxes/gels is that it is water based, and washes out so easily. The morning after applying wax, I would get out of the shower to have thick, slightly greasy hair which felt as if it still had product (albeit leftover, unuseful and unusable product) in it. Not with suavecito. My hair feels nice and clean the next day after only a rinse with water, a great bonus. I am well and truly sold with this product. I highly recommend it. A point I must make is that my product arrived with a damaged container, a fairly large crack at the base. This worried me as I feared the product had dried out at the bottom. This would ordinarily lead me to knock off a star for the overall experience, HOWEVER, the seller, yakwax, displayed outstanding customer service by quickly dispatching a replacement, whilst allowing me to hold onto the damaged container. If anything, I would add on a star to the 5 star rating, but since I cannot, 5 stars will suffice along with a strong recommendation to try this product despite the fairly high price.

This is pricier than most supermarket products, but it's also far better. You can apply damp or dry and the hold is great, without any crunchiness. The advert states it's 'medium shine' which is spot on; it's not matte but neither is it greasy. Perfect for modern takes on classic styles. It's also properly water soluble making it easy to rinse out or clean your hands after application. The pomade is lightly fragranced with a nice scent that sits between 'barbershop' and 'shower gel', so it'll go well with many modern men's colognes. All in all, an ideal product for quiffs, parts or slickbacks, and Suavecito will be my go-to for now.

This is an awesome hair product. I rarely write reviews, let along one about a hair product but thought I'd try to help anyone who was in my position. I have think, straight hair and no matter what I try it does it's own thing. I usuaully have to resort to hard gel which looks naff anyway - but cremes, putty, clay etc would never work. This stuff is great. You wet your hair slightly and then apply it, simply by rubbing into your hands and brushing through your hair. The style, ideally with a comb. It holds your hair very well without having to apply too much. You can spend a good while styling before it 'sets'. It does set reasonably hard but not as hard a gel and does look quite natural. It smells nice and is NOT oily or greasey. It washes out very easily, with minimum shampoo too which apparently can be a problem for non water soluable pomades. It can also be 'reactivates' by just wetting your hair slightly, perfect if the morning after you haven't had chance to have a shower but don't want to leave the house with 'bed head'. Honestly, if you're searching for a haird product, this is it.

Okay so this product does what it is suppose to do really well, if you are looking for something to slick back or slick over hair etc then this is for you. I have medium to longer hair on the top and a short undercut on the sides, and i usually slick back the top so this product was brillaint for that. Depending on how long your hair is depends on how you should use it, i think if you have hair longer than 3 inches so im talking up to 5-6 inches i think you can get away with a tiny amount of product and and the weight will be do the rest. However mine is around 3-4 inches maybe a little longer therefore i must blow dry the hair back then apply the product to dry hair. adding to dry hair is alot stronger than adding to damp hair however you dont get the certain shine and gloss you do with adding slighly damp/wet hair. Saying all this the product on its own still has a decent amount of shine and plenty enough for me so it depends on your preference, if you want more gloss you will probably have to add some other product or hairspray etc. I have very thick hair on the top and with the blow dry back and product and comb it holds great, i cant imagine it would be very good for any other style than slick but lets be honest your looking at this product cause you want a slick! the only downside to this product is the price, i mean wow £16 is alot for what this actually is. dont get me wrong its one of the best pomades i have used but i dont think it justifies that tag. Also the tub isnt massive so if you use this product alot it will run out quickly, im SURE there has got to be another product out there with the same effectivness of this that is half the price... Overall great pomade, give it a try once you have grow your hair out a bit (needs length) cause thats what i had to do!

Needed a good product to keep my hair manageable whilst going through the in-between stage of growing it long. I've been keeping my hair slicked back but because it's at that awkward stage and I have slightly wavey hair it tends to wing out at the sides and curl at the front which drives my mad, this product has done the job of keeping it in order providing I use it on my hair when it is almost dry, if I put it on damp it doesn't have enough hold, it's also extremely easy to wash out. The product smells really fresh like a lime cola scent and gives your hair a textured finish and a nice amount of shine. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Love it! Fantastic, masculine, just of the shower scent, easy to comb through, easiest pomade to wash out! The hold it great, will easily last the day, but it has had the tendency to need re-combing to keep the hight up. However, it feels so light on your hair its like using hair spray. Will take to re-combing OK as it does dry out too much, but I always make sure to wet it slightly first and then it re-sets without any fuss. The shine is OK, but if you want really high shine, the only was will be to use a oil based product like Dax Wax - High & Tight: Awesome Shine or Murray's Superior Hair Dressing Pomade 85 g . Though for a waterbased product it's a fairly decent shine, but it must be applied to damp hair to make the most of it. Overall, if you want an easy to use product that you don't need to worry about then this is for you.

Really good product, holds well and doesn’t look greasy. However the price is getting silly. I last bought this product for £11, it’s now almost £15! Whilst some may be happy to pay that, I’m going to stop elsewhere; other websites are selling the product for less than half the price currently listed here!

WOW, i have finally found my perfect hair product after years of trying and sticking with pretty much the same sort of products. The saying " a little goes a long way" sums up this pomade perfectly. I find with my old hair products I used to basically over do it in terms of usage and felt like I needed to use lots of it just to get a good style. This stuff is like magic dust and I literally use a pea size amount or a little more and it gives my style a superb hold, look and shine. I finish off with a quick spray of my favourite firm hold spray just to give it that extra strength. I currently have the undercut slick back hairstyle which is why I purchased this due to recommendations and it works perfectly for that sort of hair style. Great product and amazing smell which lingers throughout the day. I will be purchasing this Pomade from now on.

Superbe, produit clean sans produits mauvais pour la santé et ça c'est cool . L'odeur est agréable. Pour ce qui est de la fixation, très bonne tiens une journée sans soucis et surtout gros avantage pas d'effet cheveux gras ou au contraire d'effet carton comme avec le gel . Donc franchement pour moi c'est du tout bon seul une chose cloche c'est que quand on la pose sur nos cheveux on a peine le temps de la travailler qu'elle est déjà sèche et ça c'est un défaut car du coup on tire forcément sur les cheveux et j'ai toujours 4,5 cheveux qui restent dans la main ... mais elle mérite 5 étoiles quand même ! Je précise je suis un homme caucasien cheveux mi long épais . En espérant que ça aide

Dokładnie tak jak głosi opis - silna stylizacja i jednocześnie odżywienie włosów. Trzyma 8+h nawet moje włosy, gdzie z reguły żartowałem że do stylizacji potrzebuję użyć super glue. Łatwo zmywa się wodą, pozostawia włosy świeże jakby dopiero po myciu. 10/10
