Very effective

I don't know if the company or someone else designed this carton, but it's the best thing since sliced bread. Will easily go through a letterbox, so no delivery problems. I have arthritic hands and found it very easy to hold and remove required tablet(s), and remove and replace lid. I could also read the ingredients and instructions without resorting to a magnifying glass. Very good value for money. I have recently had a lot of antibiotics and painkillers and also suffer from diarrhoea, so I'm hoping to restock my gut bacteria with these broad-spectrum good bacteria. (Most cheaper-end natural yoghurts don't state which bacteria they have in them.) I started off with one a night and one in morning, and increased to two capsules after a week, since there were no adverse effects. I can't really give an objective judgment of their efficacy - my bowel movements might be more stable - but in any case I have everything to gain and nothing to lose for these easy to swallow capsules at this reasonable price.

Genuinely contains probiotics, as proven by the usual experiment of using it as a starter-culture to make yogurt from cow-milk (not from rice-milk, as that doesn't contain lactose) – however, that only proves the presence of 1 or more probiotic strains, not that it contains the 6 strains claimed & in the numbers claimed. To prove the presence of 6 strains one'd need a microscope with magnification of minimum 400x (& to prove the numbers one's need to count a sample & multiply!).I've not yet noticed any difference in health, as I was already healthy – sorry not to be of any help there – I'm a little overweight & so bought these to optimise my microbiome, as that's supposed to help with appetite & weight etc, as well as with general health of course – at least on hols I didn't put on any further weight!On holiday my boyfriend had these capsules too, just 2 capsules, taken 1 per morning on 2 consecutive days, & after the first day he felt blocked but thought little of it as he has that occasionally (say once every few months) but after the 2nd capsule he came down with extreme constipation that he's never had before & it was accompanied by considerable pain - this was despite our eating almost exclusively fruit+veg while we were away, so the blockage most definitely wasn't due to any lack of fibre! (& we were still in UK & so it wasn't the water or any other usual cause) – but extremely luckily this blockage-feeling & severe constipation subsided after 5-6 days, without hospital treatment (but inconveniently made us have to stay on hol 1 extra day, as he still wasn't fit to travel home) – but I've heard of inulin v.v.rarely causing intestinal blockage requiring surgery! – so in future I'll be seeking out a probiotic without inulin – FYI, the FOS listed on the web-page is from inulin, as stated on the bottle, thos this detail is omitted from the web-page. (I also choose probiotics that don't have xylitol, as that of course kills bacteria! - this probiotic doesn't contain any xylitol, but incredibly some do.)Also I'm confused by the bottle stating to take the probiotics on an empty stomach - so we did as it said - but I've since looked this up & it's contrary to usual instructions; also doesn't make sense, being as the bottle says that the capsules resist stomach acid (which is released to digest food & so an empty stomach should have little acid).Since then, I've stopped taking it myself too – so I've only tied it for about 5 days.As I've not tried the product for long, I wasn't going to leave a review, but this manufacturer/seller emails often reminding the customer to leave a review – perhaps they'll revise that tactic after this!

Bit of an odd one this review as I don't actually take the product.... however saying that its my mother who takes it.. and I've seen, first hand the change in her.. it's helped her, she feels to combat her UTI's as last yr she had 17 different anti-biotics and nearly died in Dec 2017.... now she has stopped taking all her perscribed medicines and takes this and a 10mil gram cranberry table daily.. shes cut out her statins and a few other tablets..( and NO I'm not recommending you stop all your tablets in her case the doc had given up and said it wouldn't matter, she didn't have long anyway)... all stopped..from being totally bed ridden in Jan 2018 ...shes now up /walking /functioning/ and we have nick named her "Lazarus".... I can't say that this product did this.. but shes has had no UTI'S this yr at all, normal body bowel movement where was constipated before.. skin improved.... so don't care how or why ... it seems to have helped her ... and that's all that counts...

After a chronic gall bladder infection in December, And loads of antibiotics, I was left with bad diarrhoea...for 5 months. Tried every thing, but nothing worked. Even my doctor and the gall bladder specialist had no idea what to treat it with. But I then tried this, and within days I was rapidly improving. After 2 weeks I was completely cured...having been locked in for 5 months , as I couldn’t leave home ....just in case. It was a trial for me, just to see if probiotic treatment could balance whatever was wrong in me. This is an amazing product- just 1 tablet a day, and it stopped my problem.....after being terrified that I would have diarrhoea forever.I highly recommend this for any tummy troubles- even if only as trial and error like me, as it could just turn out to be the exact remedy you need.
