Dell Adapter Mini DisplayPort to VGA Cable, black

I've had a few mor complicated all in one displayport adaptors, in short they've all failed quickly, this i've had for a few months now and it's been soling, it's made of quality materials and works well in my msi laptop.

Perfect. I tried a cheaper non-Dell first, but it would not work on one of the USB ports, and then this Dell original worked perfectly. I wont try and cut corners next time, and will always buy original from now on.

Works as stated, quality is great between screens

The Adapter works...that's it. Picture quality is barely sufficient. Image on every screen I tried it on is blur and never crystal clear like when using a direct VGA cable. Unfortunately My Dell M3800 no longer has any analog video output but only digital so I have to live with it. With time all screens and projectors will have a digital video port so this kind of adapters will not be needed for much longer.

You can find similar descriptions of this adaptor for about £4 with reviews from 1 star to 5 star. The 1 star review all claiming they did not work or they stopped working. When using an adaptor you want it to work 100%. I nearly discarded a monitor that I thought was faulty using a cheap DVDI to VGA adaptor . This Dell product was bought because I have always had confidence in Dell products. It is being used to connect an Intel NUC to a ATEN KVMP switch setup. KVM switches can be notoriously fickle when changing over between different PC's but at least I know this time the Adaptor is not at fault.

Not great quality, was OK at first but now struggles to fit to my laptop and the projector constantly drops the connection

I bought this adaptor to connect my ultrabook to old projectors and external monitors. I’ve never tried it with a projector yet. But I’ve used it to connect a second monitor many times. It works but image quality is not crystal-clear as mentioned on Dell’s webpage. I've tried to fix this problem by changing many of the screen settings but still texts are little bit blurry. I’ve never used any other brand’s adaptor so I couldn’t compare the image quality. On the other hand material quality is very good.

Je suis prof et vidéo-projette mes cours à chaque séance. J'ai commencé par acheter un câble standard en croyant économiser un peu mais il n'a pas fonctionné sur tous les vidéoprojecteurs que j'utilise. J'ai donc acheté le produit de marque, la même que mon laptop E7450. Il fonctionne certes sur plus d'appareil mais à ma grande surprise pas encore sur tous, en particulier avec un modèle de marque epson. Déçu donc vu le prix du produit. Au final, j'emprunte le câble Microsoft d'un collègue.. pas idéal donc ! Je déconseille l'achat de ce produit.

Klappt tadellos an verschiedenen Projektoren und sieht wertig aus. Die Verarbeitung war auch einwandfrei. Was will man mehr von einem Adapter wie diesem. Ich nutze ihn an meinem Dell Latitude E7440, er funktioniert aber auch mit jedem Notebook das den Anschluss besitzt.
