Polishing Compound-Fine

Been wanting this item for some time. Very effective and useful item

Another great product produced by Tamiya. Definitely get better results in my opinion than using off the shelf automotive wax that I experimented with before. Plus its easy to store with all your modelling stuff, unlike the large tin of automotive wax I bought from Halfords, which has now been relocated to my garage, and quite correctly so😊.

Great item but a tad expensive.

As you would expect from Tamiya, this is a quality product that will clean up your clear parts. Works best with Tamiya's multi colour cloth pack.

This item came with no instructions in English, If I spoke Japanese or German I would be fine. Considering a large amount of people in the world speak English it would be nice to receive a product with English instructions. It's over priced at £11.99 a tube. I won't be buying this item again.

Excelent product, easy to use, beey effective on minor scratches.

Je l'ai pris pour retirer des rayures sur un moniteur LCD et un écran de Nintendo 3DS assez sévèrement rayés. Alors oui ça fonctionne très bien. Prendre aussi la pâte de finition si possible. MAIS ATTENTION, les écrans LCD ont une couche de traitement antireflet ou autre par dessus leur couche de plastique. Ce qui fait qu'après application de cette pâte à polir, une auréole sur la zone de traitement sera clairement visible. Elle le sera plus ou moins en fonction de l'écran (impossible de le déterminer à l'avance). Sur mon moniteur LCD, le résultat n'est pas trop mal, l'auréole se voit peu, beaucoup moins que les rayures qu'il y avait en tout cas donc pour moi, le résultat est positif. Par contre, sur ma Nintendo 3DS, le résultat a été désastreux. Il aurait fallu que je passe cette pâte à polir sur l'écran entier. J'ai fini par acheté une nouvelle vitre en verre de remplacement (l'original est en plastique), c'était beaucoup plus simple, moins cher et c'est maintenant encore plus solide. C'est un très bon produit en tout cas.

As I understand it Tamiya makes a coarse, a fine, and an extra fine compound Tamiya calls 'Finish'. Thus far, I have been very impressed with the 'Fine' polishing compound. I plan on purchasing the Coarse and Finish compounds in the future. I will be using some or all of them to polish out the acrylic paint finishes on plastic models.
