It will not wash away but will become less effective when exposed to lots of rain and will need to be replaced around every 6 months

Have pigeons in our balcony,how do you use the repellant?

We didn't want the pigeons on top of our pergola so just put the product on the top. It is very sticky so beware.

Does this dry chalky?

No, it goes sticky. Ruined my conservatory roof and did nothing to repel birds.

Yes, we put it on the top of our pergola and we were always bothered by pigeons landing on there and leaving droppings on the decking but after using this they landed a couple of times and didn't like the stickiness so didn't bother again. It lasted 3 summers.
