A bit of hand lapping on the back will be required if you want the to be flat.The metal deforms immediately cutting other metal e.g. wires, (I tries some 18 gauge guitar strings.) Will probably be OK as "spru nippers" is you're a plastic model maker, but I doubt would be much use to an electrician or jeweler unless you need something for "one job, then chuck them away."For a two pound of asking price, I did not expect much in the way of quality. If you want something durable, for example, if you need something hard enough to stand up wire cutting, you probably want to spent a bit more money on something better.

The wire cutters have worked perfectly for what I needed them for. I only use them for vape related activities so can't vouch for using thwm for anything else. They seem a suprizingly good quality for the price, I only paid £0.65 for them, at the time of writing them they cost £1.53 which I still think is a fair price.I think it took at least 3 weeks to arrive (I forgot I'd bought them and bought the coil master mini v2 kit and these cutters are much better than the kits btw) but I was expecting that.Overall I am very happy with the product.

Can cut wires beautifully.

I was shocked at the quality of these cutters, US made and far superior to my Bahco cutters that I have been using for many years. I would have been happy at £10, but paid less than 2.

Ideal side cutters for model making, you can cut flush with these cutters, great price

Using these for flush cutting cable ties, and for trimming down plastic for 40K models. The centre pivot was a little lose at first, but after tightening it myself, these work great.

These sidecutters are very good, sharp and easy to cut, sprung handles so stay open, and cut very close to pcb, i cant fault them, very good supplier and very cheap, would deff deal again.

I've bought a few of these now, as spares. They are very reliable and cut clean too.They do take a while to arrive so another reason to order a few.
