I'm following a keto lifestyle for quite some time now (about 3 years). While the diet itself was always my primary goal to achieve nutritional ketosis I was always experimenting with various supplements that would help me with transitional periods after "cheat" carb days and low physical activity periods. Anyone doing the same would recognize UK market being particularly challenging in that respect as the choice of products is very small due to demand, lack of information and regulatory obstacles. There comes Damien and his online store Ketosource Ltd. He is one of the real Keto enthusiasts out there and very meticulous in his approach to science, very approachable and helpful. His store was the first reliable source to offer the top of the range products that are made famous due to unrelenting Keto protagonists like Dominic D'Agostino or Peter Attia. It was with great expectations when he announced his own line of products under the KetoPerformance brand name. And let me just say, they live up to a hype. I've tried and tested many MCT products over the years - from generic Coconut Oil to special pure C8s, in both powder and liquid form. This product is by far the purest C8 (the most potent MCT constituent) available on the market and produced in a healthy, clean and sustainable way. Damien did his research and made sure his product exceeds the current standard of similar market offerings. It's a tasteless pure clear oily liquid, that can be easily added to any food. It was a little surprising to me, how well it is tolerated by my gastrointestinal system. I've had various issues in the past with other MCTs, but I've easily tolerated two tablespoons of the product without any side effects. That's on par with the best of MCT powders, which I frankly find amazing and bear in mind that complex MCT doesn't come close to pure C8 in terms of ketone production stimulating capability. One tablespoon easily and reliably increases my plasma Beta-Hydroxybutyrate levels by advertised 0.5 mmol/L (measured by Abbot Freestyle blood test strips) within about half an hour which is the great way how to kickstart the liver ketone production pathway. If you're looking for MCTs, look no further. Highly recommended!

I bought Premium C8 after several bad experiences with MCT oil. Oils I had bought previously had upset my stomach, sometimes severely. Premium, C8 was different. Opening the oil and pouring it showed me the oil was clearly and more finely refined than oils I had used previously. The taste was more subtle. I use the oil in black coffee. As part of my intermittent fasting regime I drink bullet proof coffee. I have now replaced this with MCT Keto-coffee. I drink it 30 mins before the time when I would normally have lunch or dinner. The MCT produces feelings of saiety that make fasting easier. I can add this oil to coffee throughout the fasting day with no ill effects. I have used Premium MCT for two weeks and intend to use this MCT oil regularly from now on. Also, support on this product is good. I emailed Ketosource with some questions about their product and got a comprehensive reply the following day.

This did not work for me the way I hoped. I followed the instructions carefully and gradually upped the dose from 5 ml to 10 ml to 15 ml, no more than once a day (to see how I coped with that), but after I got up to 15 ml once a day, I started reacting very badly to it - severe upset stomach and stomach cramps, light headedness and nearly blacking out, palpitations, and diarrhea. It also didn't do anything to stave off hunger - I had it an hour before meals, as recommended, but ended up being just as hungry as usual. It made me very jittery and anxious, so I guess this is not for me. I already follow a healthy low carb diet, so I guess I'm better off sticking to natural, whole foods rather than looking for additional dietary aids. Perhaps this works well for others, but it didn't work for me. Customer support from Olivia was excellent, though, although I never got a response from Damien regarding issues I was having with the app on my phone and the computer. The taste of the oil itself is fine, it doesn't taste like anything and I had no problems swallowing it plain.

I ordered this because I just started this new fangled keto diet that my daughter in law got me into. I was finding it very hard to stick to the diet and gave this a try. I`m in my 50`s and need to lose a lot of weight. It had a very mild taste which was quite pleasant. I gave it 2 stars because it`s not flavoured. Within an hour of taking this I decided to go and cut my very large lawn with a push mower because my ride-on tractor is in for repair. I was amazed at the energy I had and easily completed the task quickly and wasn`t even tired at the end of it (which I am usually totally exhausted). My wife said " why are you charging around the garden like a mad man?" LOL. I didn`t realise I was. I started as instructed and took 1 tea spoon twice a day with absolutely no side effects as reported by others who don`t read the instructions and take too much and start complaining they have a sore tummy. I`m now in week 2 and taking 1 and a half tea spoons twice a day with no side effects except the increased energy and a curbed appetite which I think is what this is all about. I can go to work after having this in my early morning cuppa and two boiled eggs and I don`t even think about food until I get home 13 to 14 hours later. So, yes it does curb your cravings for carbs and is obviously using my stored fat for fuel. Give it a try folks and follow the instructions properly. You won`t be disappointed and I`m a terrible skeptic when it comes to stuff like this.

I’ve been using MCT oils as part of my ketogenic diet for a while and have tried most of the brands available in the UK. Most recently, I’ve been comparing and contrasting the different products and have quickly learnt that there is an extensive diversity in results. Some gave me a stomach ache while others didn’t. Some products seemed to give me a huge spike in energy levels for my workouts, while some, only enough to get me through meetings at work – and I couldn’t figure out why. From Dr Mercola’s article, C8 caprylic acid is considered the best in increasing energy levels and avoiding indigestion. I recently came across a brand called KetoPerformance. Their product contains 99% C8 and also publish their third party lab results so we know what exactly is in the bottle. This openness is so refreshing in the midst of a growing market with not enough transparency. I wish all companies would start doing this! I have not yet finished the bottle, but I’ve already noticed a dramatic improvement in my performance; no indigestion whatsoever and it gives me that energy lift I love getting from MCTs. So happy to have found a great quality product and a brand that I can trust! Will definitely be repurchasing again and would be keen to explore any other products they have in their line. È 100% C8 puro da cocco, quindi il tipo più efficace per la produzione di chetoni rapidi. Lo noto soprattutto al mattino: ne metto un cucchiaino nel caffè (bulletproof coffee) e in meno di 20 minuti sento un bel picco di energia mentale e fisica, senza nervosismo o “crash”. Lo uso anche nei giorni di digiuno intermittente, per avere energia senza rompere il digiuno metabolico. Prima di camminate o attività leggere, per sentirmi più concentrata. Nella dieta cheto, per raggiungere facilmente la quota di grassi “buoni”. La consistenza è leggera, il gusto è neutro (nessun retrogusto strano!) e non appesantisce lo stomaco – cosa che con altri MCT mi era successa. L’assorbimento è immediato, e rispetto ad altri oli provati in passato, questo mi sembra davvero più efficace nel favorire la chetosi. Il flacone da 500ml in plastica è pratico, anche se sarebbe bello se in futuro lo proponessero in vetro. In sintesi: un prodotto di altissima qualità, perfetto per chi segue la keto, il digiuno intermittente, o vuole solo un boost di energia naturale e pulita!
