Manuka Health MGO400 Plus Honey, 500 g

Not for me, but for my aged dad who really likes Manuka. Expensive, but apparently worth it. He thoroughly enjoys it and has to ration his consumption. I always bring some back from annual visits to NZ, but of course this year it hasn't been possible - so Amazon. But he's perfectly happy with the quality.

I bought this pot being the cheapest Manuka 20+ after having read of the wonders of this honey on the Internet. Initially I used it on a very painful cut in my gums that had been getting worse for over a week: after three days it was gone. I then used it to cure my sore throat and it helped me greatly. I also put a bit of Manuka honey on my finger when I cut myself cooking: it stopped the bleeding in seconds and on the next morning the wound looked nearly healed. I would highly recommend having this in your house!!

Great value for money, however it has a bit of a tangy after taste. Other brands are slightly tastier. However, honey spreads well and has a lovely thick texture.

Manuka Honey is perfect for all kind of problems. Sore throught? Use one teaspoon of Manuka in the evening and leave it as long as possible in your mouth - you will see it helps! Burned your skin with hot liquid? Manuka will help avoid scrarring if you put it on the skin and then some gauze above. Cut your skin? Use Manuka under your band aid, next day the cut is completely closed. Manuka is good for a lot of issues. I have never had something better, can't live without Manuka at home just in case. Strong recommendation!

Forget eating this stuff, slather it on your face for a refreshing, albeit slight sticky, soothing and smoothing face mask. As Manuka honey is very effective for healing wounds it also works wonders if you have acne prone skin. Also seems to help fade those angry red post-acne scars. I have been using it at night, smothering half a teaspoon's worth over my face and leaving for 15-25 mins. Rinse with warm water and you can feel the soothing, anti bacterial benefits. Skin feels softer in the morning too. This honey has a high manuka factor or MGO in this case, the higher the better and more antibacterial. It is very thick though, I like to add a few drops of organic grape seed oil which helps it glide on better and has great skin benefits in itself. For active acne apply a small blob and cover with a plaster and leave on until the morning, brings acne to a head (apologies for the visuals, bleugh!) and helps heal faster. Oh, and you can eat it.

Any digestive problems manuka honey is the best no matter the brand but please be advised to do your research on what is a proper manuka honey this is one of them taste is one of the best for qualoty and price the mgo on this is equivalent to 12-13activity on other brands it helped me alot when I had tummy problems taking it 3 times a day preferably on an empty stomach and even when better I still do take it great thank u planet earth

Ich liebe diesen Honig. Ich nehme täglich einen Teelöffel in der Früh nach dem aufstehen und ich fühle mich seitdem großartig. Ob es Einbildung ist kann ich nicht sagen aber ich werde ihn weiterhin kaufen. Was ich sagen kann er schmeckt großartig und ist das Geld wert.
