I bought this flow improver along with Vallejo’s black primer, and it’s been a great addition to my airbrush setup. It helps keep the airbrush lubricated and really reduces the risk of clogs or blockages during use. I always add a bit to the cup before the paint, and it definitely improves performance. Just be careful not to over-thin, as it can affect coverage. Used properly, it makes airbrushing much more consistent and hassle-free. Highly recommended for anyone using an airbrush regularly.

This in my honest opinion is a must have for every serious scale modeler/miniature airbrush artist/hobbyist. Even airbrush ready paints need thinning or at least I haven't ever found a brand that doesn't benefit from thinning. Not only does this product thin your paint but it extends the work time of the paint too keeping it flowing better for longer. I wouldn't airbrush without adding this along with a few drops of distilled water or thinner. For every four pipette drops of paint I add one drop of this and a drop of distilled water/thinner -generally as all paints are different thicknesses and a strict ratio can't be followed. If you don't believe me or think I may be exaggerating this also comes in a smaller bottle (this is how I first tried it out) grab some then you can thank me. I haven't looked back! Excellent stuff, also have a look at Vallejo Airbrush Thinner as a great companion for those thicker paints that don't come pre thinned for the airbrush. Like I say there is no point in me giving out ratios as all paints are different from pot to pot. i.e. my Citadel Air Mephiston Red is a tad thicker than the Citadel Air Fire Dragon Bright and therefore require different thinning ratios however whatever your ratio I always try and use half of the dilution Vallejo Airbrush Flow Improver and my other thinning medium be it distilled water or Vallejo Airbrush Thinner, just as a note Lifecolor Acrylic Thinner is another good thinner to add to this Vallejo Airbrush Flow Improver.Brilliant product.
