Great drink

Great Tequila.

Patron is a classic for a reason. It's smooth, rich and complex with well balanced vanilla. There are cheaper alternatives but whenever I come back to this I remember why it's worth the money. It almost seems a shame to make margaritas out of it (although they're excellent!), I tend to drink it with tonic/lemonade and a slice of lime.

Last year we went to Mexico and had some excellent tequila. when I saw this tequila was on special offer we decided to treat ourselves to a quality tequila and we weren't disappointed. When I buy 'cheapish' tequila I usually squeeze some lemon juice to make it more palatable. Not with this one, I place the bottle in the freezer and drink it neat. And love the bottle shape, it is iconic. The only drawback is that it won't fit in the milk compartment of the fridge as it's very wide but not a problem for me as I put it straight into the freezer draw. Problem solved!

La Patron Silver est une très bonne tequila pour qui souhaite découvrir ce type de spiritueux. A base d'agave bleue Weber, elle est fluide et relativement sèche, avec des petites notes herbacées et agrumes. Et sans additif, contrairement à d'autres téquilas connues... A noter qu'elle est appréciable pure ou en cocktails. Bref, une bouteille à avoir dans son bar!
