Can i connect to 13 amp house socket and then use something that requires 220v 16 amp with it?

Hi, yes you can. However, if the device you connect actually draws 16 amps you may well trip the circuit breakers in your house. It would be a beast of a device that draws that much though. Chances are that it will be fine as few devices draw that much.

Can I plug a 110v Henry Hoover in to this and will it work without buying a transformer ?
