Advice please. I have patches in my back garden due to conifer removal, I have aerating shoes, lawn food and with this. Do I use aerating shoes first?

aerate the part of the lawnyou would like to reseed. then use a mixture of lawn soil and seed and spreadthis over the area giving a good covering. rake this into the arerated holes.if you are feeling energetic you could aerate the rest of the lawn and again with a mixture oflawn soil and a small amount of grass seed mixedin spread it over the rest of the lawn and rake over. water with a fine spray every day untill the new grass is 2 + inches and then as normal. best of luck.and you should be amazed at results

how resistant to salt water is it

Don't know. It is used in a normal garden with lots of shade. It doesn't grow as strongly as advertised so you might have some problems growing it by the sea.

Hiya To be honest I find it great.. its a lovely and thick lush grass. Really wonderful colour too. It mows very well but it would obviously depend on quality and type of mower. I've cut mine with both a cylinder mowers and a flymo type too. For me both similar effect. I prefer the heavy cylinder mower finish of my lawn but the flymo is easier. But the grass looks nice with either.
