I have a two year old who still puts everything in her mouth. are the coins small enough to swallow?

Coins are larger than a quarter but I wouldn't take the chance. I bought it for my 3 year old but still keep it away from my 1.5 year old.

Coins got lost behind the register unable to use can I return it this was the first day my son used it ?

I tried turning the machine upside down and gave it a tap and opened it.
