These garage storage racks are fantastic! They are ideal for paddle boards and kayaks, but also great for heavier bicycles and any other items you need to lift off the floor. I've ordered two sets of three racks each so far. Great value, well-made, and easily installed.

Great price and product. These are very sturdy, came with the hardware to hang, and hold both my kayaks. One kayak is a 10ft and one kayak is a ft. It works great and I was able to store them in my shed. They are sleek and hold the kayaks with lots of support.

Once mounted, the kayak racks work well and as intended. Several people warned against using the supplied screws. When I received them, they appeared ok to use and I assumed they had already been improved. Buy, was I wrong! The screws are made of soft metal, not steel. The heads of the screws twisted off when I hand-tightened them into my 2x4. Since most of the screw was behind the rack, I was unable to see that only the head was turning. Now, I have a 2” screw without a head where I want to mount the racks. So, buy the racks but get your own stronger 2” screws.

I bought a kayak, and go figure, didn’t think about where or how I was going to store it…my garage is ample and my car is narrow, but leaning it against the floor of the garage simply wouldn’t fly. Since these had such strong reviews, I took a chance. For me, installation was very simple since I have exposed studs in my rental unit’s garage, but I did drill a pilot hole just to make sure nothing split in the process. I was delighted that the screws had a 10mm option for installation with a wrench as well as a Phillips head—I always seem to struggle with the Phillips head option so the wrench head works great! My kayak fit on it perfectly, sitting straight and tight against the wall immediately and the base of it has a support, but admittedly, I’m going to add some extra pool noodle padding on the sides of the hooks just in case I make a little whoops some day while I’m pulling into my garage. Looks wise, this is a home run for sure!

I purchased the six pack and used four to hang the kids kayaks. The other two worked great to hang our beach chairs and other garage stuff such as extension cords and pressure washer hose. As others mentioned, if you are screwing into a stud the installation will be much easier if you're able to predrill for the screws. Also, be mindful the supplied screws have a hex head, so if you don't have the right driver handy they are likely to break or strip - nothing wrong with the supplied hardware, just novice users need to be aware. If you don't have a hex driver, it will be easier for you if you swap out the screws for long phillips head screws. Very good racks with lots of other uses if you're a little creative!

This worked ok. Very basic and easy to install. I had each support mounted to a stud, the arms were bending from the weight of my kayak. My kayak is not that heavy, it's a pretty standard 10' sit-inside kayak, nothing fancy. I ended up going another route to store my kayak (overhead via pulleys) and used these to store my fiberglass ladders instead.
