Really pleased with this EZ curl bar. It’s sturdy, well-balanced, and perfect for bicep and tricep workouts at home. The spinlock collars hold the weights securely, and it's compatible with standard 1-inch plates, which is exactly what I needed to match my existing York weights. The grip is comfortable and has just the right amount of texture not too rough, but enough to prevent slipping. It's also a nice weight on its own, not too heavy to handle but feels solid and durable. Great value for the price. Perfect for anyone looking to upgrade their home gym setup with a reliable curl bar.

Very easy to use and will be compatible with most plates, very easy to use and is versatile for lots of exercises, looks nice too. It endures lots of weights. The handle is not sharp like other equipment so is comfortable.

Probably my favourite piece of equipment. Allows for so much more of a focused bicep curl than when using free weights. Can be used without any plates or can add plates as appropriate - I use plates I already own that screwed on fine using the locking screws provided with the item. It only takes seconds.

Can't fault it, its a bar you put weights on and you lift the bar up and down and get stronger. The metal spinlocks move very fluidly, which is great for switching out plates quickly, but means you need to tighten them every time you pick them up and they'll be loosen if the bar plates roll at all while put to rest on the ground. That's fine for a small amount of plates, but I wouldn't trust it beyond 5 on either side. The york dumb bells come with PVC locks and while they have no weight of their own, they won't budge once in place. Excellent quality item, and a decent price.

I have a York Fitness bench, spinlock barbell, spinlock dumbbell handles and various plates that I bought nearly 20 years ago. This EZ Curl Bar is fully compatible with those old plates. The bar is gleaming and perfectly finished. Given my experience with York Fitness kit, this should last you a lifetime. Delivery was one day later than expected but I believe that was down to the courier, not the supplier (wasn't dispatched by Amazon).

I decided to purchase a curl bar after using one at my uncles house, and this one seemed like the best deal. I've had it almost a year now and I'm still pleased I got it. In comparison to the picture, the angles are spot on, however the area in the 'middle valley' that is etched for grip, on the one I received the etched part stops around the peaks and the valley is smooth. However, that is a non-issue as the middle section isn't meant for use. However if I had to give a criticism it would be that the grips gathered a bit of rust/went brown quite quickly. Perhaps this is sweat, but it is a pain to clean as the grooves are very thin. That being said it doesn't mark your hands at all, it's really just an aesthetic point. The different angles are great for different types of lift. And the bend in the middle makes it easier if you wanted to use it for squats. I also like that if you want your weights to stay firm in place, i.e. not rattle, then this does sufficiently well at that. They can come loose fairly easily, say if you turn in on the floor or use them heavily, but normally they stay in place for a solid feel.

I have no idea why they titled this curl bar as "York Fitness 5kg EZ Curl Spinlock Bar" which implies it can take 5Kg, while in reality it can take 125Kg. They should change the title to say '125Kg curl bar'. EDIT: Quoting a commenter: "lmao its because it weighs 5kg dude use your brain" - Yes, i feel like a goofball now. I should have known that! I'll just leave my stupidity up there on display because it's so dumb of me it's actually funny. Anyway, I bought myself another one of these after i gave my friend my old one when i was moving away around 10yrs ago, and i forgot how great the curl bar actually is. I'm so glad i got this again. I call the curl bar the 'all in one'. Now my long straight bar will sit on the sidelines from now on. You can easily lift heavier like you would lift dumbbells (obviously with both hands on the curl bar tho) and get more work into your biceps etc, plus you can still do squats as well. I easily recommend this bar to anyone, but more so to novices because as i said, i call the curl bar the all in one, so the fact a novice can just get this and lift it like they'd lift dumbbells or do squats with it, they don't have to fiddle about with setting up different bars, which in turn helps get their mind on the exercises and lift themselves out of any laziness that has set in, like, if it was changing bars all the time, they might otherwise not be bothered to. Seriously, grab yourself a curl bar if you're just starting out. And good luck with your health and fitness.

After having used this for a few months, on average using this 9 sets a week I'm noticing discolouring, possibly rusting where I've been holding the bar. One of the spinlocks has slightly threaded and I now have to force this past the blockages to keep the it tight everytime I change the weights. So yeah, it's ok, it's doing the job but it's turning up to work unmotivated and like it just wants the money before banging out before the clock.

Materiale eccellente, e le chiusurei avvitabili congiungono i dischi alla barra senza la minima vibrazione, anche quando i dischi sono più di uno per lato. Il prezzo è in linea col mercato. Consiglio però di prenderlo, o almeno di cominciare a usarlo, solo dopo almeno un paio di settimane di esercizi con i manubri a una mano sola: una dozzina di chili sulle braccia tese pesa più che non si creda, e rischia di far perdere l'equilibrio.

Produit acheté pour mon conjoint, il en est satisfait et les poids de la marque York s'adapte bien dessus (ce qui n'est pas le cas avec les barres des autres marques car les poids n'ont pas tout à fait le même diamètre). Article livré dans les temps en période de fêtes.

la primera impresión es buena. talla adecuada y cn la rosca puedes apretar bien los discos.

Can't beat the price. No issues with quality. Enough space on both ends for 5 plates. Delivered right on time by UPS on a very large package.
