Sally Hansen Advanced Hard as Nails Strengthener, 13.3ml (Pack of 1)

I’ve bitten my nails for over 30 years, so growing them out has always felt impossible for me. I decided to give Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails Strengthener a try, and I’m honestly so glad I did. As someone completely new to nail care, I needed something simple and effective and this has been exactly that. My nails used to be weak, peeling, and constantly breaking, but after using this, I’ve noticed a real difference. They feel stronger, look healthier, and for the first time ever, I’m actually seeing length! It dries quickly, has a nice subtle shine, and is really easy to apply, even for a beginner like me. I also love that it gives my nails a bit of protection, which has helped me resist the urge to bite them again. It’s not an overnight miracle, but with consistent use, it’s definitely helped me on my nail growth journey. If you’re someone who struggles with nail biting or weak nails like I have, I’d absolutely recommend giving this a go.. you won’t regret it!

I am a finger style guitar player and need my nails to play. Recent nails splitting has been a problem for me. This product goes on easily. Is highly effective and an application lasts for several days. Recommend.

Very happy with this product. Always had my nails break, and not being able to have long nails. They've always been bendy. I stopped filing my side nails which was my no. 1 mistake! And used this exclusively. My nails got stronger even when I took off the nail polish, and don't bend. So, quite surprised to have long nails! Im not sure if yhey will keep being strong if i stop using the polish thougg? One minus is that the brush isn't long enough to reach the bottom of the vial when the polish has been used. So have to screw it in, then unscrew to have polish on the brush, making it a hassle to get to the last bit!

I needed a break from the nail salon and my usually strong nails were wrecked. Brittle and bendy. I bought this and my nails are now really strong and very long (not like the loo roll). I use it under nail polish and highly recommended it.

My nails got brittle, weak, thin. May be due to age or excessive diy at home. Two nails were even split vertically so whenever they used to grow they used to break from nail bed itself. So whenever I used to wear motorbike gloves or even diy gloves it used to struck in fleece, either damaging nail more and more or even break from odd places. Basically I was in no where situation. But addicted to diy I just continued my work whenever I got time, be that ponds making, gardening, wood work etc. I researched on amazon and ordered 2 products 1st "Cutex care intense recovery" which is an oil and started improving my nails within 4 days of usage and 2nd was "Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails" this is a clear nail paint to harden nails and actually it does what it says. All bad reviews which says it is not working I wonder why? I am a man in early 50ies and have zero knowledge on nail paints. If I can use both , anyone else could. First I apply oil few times a day, later I applied hardener , say twice a day and before bed time oil again. For me my nails are growing first time and showing recovery. Split nails are no no from past 1 week since I started using oil + hardener making it so tuff that they are no more thin or brittle anymore. If anyone want 1 product go for hardener as immediate solution. If budget is not a constraint go for cutex intense recovery oil as well which is long term fix. I will keep on using both because my priority is to retain my nails health while diy and daily chores. So worth spent money, Thanks a ton to amazon for quick & safe deliveries.

Dont know if i would recommend it peels really easily and one of my nails broke from the conee a couple days ago even when wearing this i just dont see an amazing difference yet but ive only bren using it for 2-3 weeks. definitely not chip resistant as it says and i just dont think its helped as much as i hoped it would have by now. Trust girly spend your money on something else.

I pretty much exclusively wear press ons (glued) and swap them probably once a week when I get bored of them and they mostly naturally pop off. But there’s never no damage. While waiting for my next haul of nails to come in I thought I’d *try* to give my nails a rest. First photo was before. Then 1 coat, then 2 coats. They looked fairly smooth! I attempted to paint over it to try to feel less naked with nothing on my nails but the chipped polish on day 2 was driving me mad and I took it all off. The final “after” photo is what my bare nails look like after only having this strengthener/filler in for two days! Significant improvement, if you ask me! Still itching to get some nails back on but they look much less offensive now! I did some research on the ingredients: Retinol, a strong resurfacing treatment for skin, acts similarly as a rebuilder for nails, promoting cell turn over (as it does for our skin) but also a conditioner for the nail beds and cuticles (you can see my cuticles look much better as well!) For the nylon - this is used for ridge filling by creating what is essentially a molecular mesh. The molecules are large enough they float on top of the nail beds rather than being absorbed, but giving the nail a smooth finish. Both are safe and not uncommon. It just sounds weird!

I've tried nail strengtheners in the past, but they never worked for me. My nails are very fragile, brittle, and soft; those are their characteristics. I decided to try this product, and I'm very surprised. My nails are growing stronger, a little thicker, and they don't break easily. I've been using the product for a month now, and I've only used half of it. I put on three coats, and they last four days. I remove them and reapply the product. I also use it as a base for my pedicure. It's simply wonderful because I've never had long nails before, and now they're growing stronger! Girls, I recommend it! You must have it! I want to buy more nail polishes from the same brand. I want to use these strengtheners forever.

Useless product. This is only a clear nail polish that you can use as a base. Does not strengthen your nails.
