Excelente 👌
Es un robot excelente que te ayuda mucho en la barrida de la casa, aunque el modo de trapera no es muy bueno, aún así lo recomiendo

An all round excellent machine
I've waited a few months before writing this review as I have been burnt before with robot vacuums bugging or malfunctioning after a period of time. I have tried 3 different brands including the fancy iRobot vacuums and I can wholeheartedly say that this is the best one. The mapping is excellent. It is quick and effective. I have used it in two different apartments with excellent results both times. The app while not full of features, is good and easy to use. The only potential drawback is if you have high rugs then it may struggle to get onto them as its ground clearance is quite low. I find its rug/carpet cleaning abilities a bit lower than the iRobot but it literally wipes the floor with most other robot vacuums in terms of hard-floor cleaning. Speaking of wiping the floor, I seldom use the mopping function and find it more of a gimmick than of actual use and that's been my experience with other vacuums as well. I read some reviews that complain about the battery life. That hasn't been my experience with around 800-1000 sqf of cleaning but it may be an issue if you have a bigger house or apartment. Great product that I would definitely recommend buying.

Best purchase of my life
One of the best purchase I've made in my first-world life. Been using it 2-3 times a week for the past 4 years. It's fire and forget, vacuums well and mops the floor (water only). Avoids obstacles well. Rarely get caught. It can step up even 1.5 inch steps between two rooms (except with the mop because it's lower then). It can be a bit of a hassle to setup the first time, it has to complete its cycle and return to the base to map the floor properly. WATCH OUT, it avoids stairs but if there's a lip, it can fail to detectit as a drop. I've learned it the hard way, mine dropped down the basement hatch directly on concrete... BUT it still works. Pretty sure cheap knocks off would've exploded in pieces on impact. It speaks of its quality components, if anything!!!

it's ok
Here's my review of the N8 Pro after using it for two years: It does a decent job of cleaning and overall, my floors are quite clean. However, there are some corners that it cannot reach, but that's not a big issue for me. The app's mapping function is average - once you create a map, any changes to the room layout will require a new scan, which can be time-consuming. The object recognition feature is not very accurate, and it often avoids small areas in front of stainless steel objects like the fridge, oven, and dishwasher. Occasionally, it also spins in circles on the floor for no apparent reason. The mopping function is almost non-existent, as there is very little pressure applied, and only a small portion of the cloth touches the floor. The wheels tend to get tangled with hair, but there's a small blade underneath the robot's flip cover to cut it off.

I really tried to like this thing...
Update 11/30 -- frustrated! (Again) It's been about 2 months since I received the replacement unit which to my surprise included the auto empty dock. Ecovacs surprised me a few months back by replacing my original unit with an upgraded "n8 pro plus" unit with self emptying base. Here are my findings. 1. The vacuum itself is strong where it vacuums. I'm always impressed with how much debris the robot collects daily. 2. The robot just doesn't get close enough to baseboards. It's likely a limitation of the round design of the body and the size of the wimpy side brush. I had a 360 s5 prior to this that did a better job with edges. 3. The unit has started to find interesting ways to get itself stuck in my place. It really lacks brains sometimes. I've tried disabling the obstacle avoidance as I had read others reporting it was sometimes the cause of the issue. Honestly it still was getting stuck. 4. Returning to the self empty dock the unit started developing an issue where it will misalign and fall off the little ramp it drives up. I've cleaned all the sensors multiple times and reset the robot. It still does this 5. My maps have corrupted twice now in 2 months. Requiring me to reset the robot. These things leave me feeling this just isn't a reliable model that can left alone to run an automated schedule. I will try my luck again with ecovacs support. I am frustrated and feel it's almost time to move on from this thing. I feel like I wasted a great deal of money on something that just isn't meeting my needs . Update 9/12 If you've read any of the previous versions of this review then please notice I've adjusted my rating back up. This was primarily because of the gesture made from Ecovacs. So I was told my n8 pro was unrepairable and a new unit was being shipped to me. Today to my surprise I got my parcel via UPS and inside was a new N8 pro plus. (Basically an n8 pro with the auto empty station) This blew me away. I will accept this as a good customer service gesture and not an error. 😜. It's too soon to say how the new unit performs. But so far so good. Update 8/28/22 Shortly after my last update I sent my robot in for repair under warranty. While dealing with customer support was frustrating I will say the process of returning the robot for service was easy. It's been gone 3 weeks now with no updates from Ecovacs, other than a response to my email thanking me for my patience. (Lol.. I don't think they quite get me.) Since sending it in I've seen sales on competitors products and debated cutting my losses on this disappointing purchase and just buying a different unit. At this moment I have a hard time recommending this product. On one hand I really appreciated how much this unit sucked up when it worked. On the other hand I was tired of coming home to find out this unit malfunctioned, got confused or just generally crapped out and didn't finish up. There are much better units out there! ------ Update 8/1/22 I figured I'd update my review. I'm growing more and more disappointed with this purchase. My robot pretty much gets confused daily now on the same spot of bare laminate floor. The robot moves a 1/2 inch it stops as if it is about to roll up on the rug with the mop plate or off the edge of the stairs. It stops, turns and does the same thing over and over again until it announces after about 10 minutes it's stuck. I give it a nudge and restart it and it works again. It's the same floor that's around the whole house so I don't understand what's wrong. Tech support from ecovacs hasn't been overly helpful other than suggesting resetting the bot. The same issue persisted after I tried that. I'm sending it in for service to ecovacs. Fail that working I may lay a rug in that spot to make my smart robot work. I bought this unit for a few reasons. Excellent price, it mops and reviewers said it had decent vacuum performance. I was also intrigued by the smart obstacle avoidance technology. What is can share after 30 days 1. The mopping performance is decent for a robot vac. 2. It seems to vacuum up quite a bit of stuff. I'm happy with suction. 3. It doesn't really get close enough to walls to clean up corners or along baseboards. My cheap $200 one did a better job with that. 4. It seems to find new and interesting ways to get itself wedged under furniture. The obstacle avoidance and radar sometimes make this thing go in trippy places. 5. It's decently quiet. 5. The scheduling function in the app has started working intermittently since the last update 6. Ecovacs support has kinda sucked so far. I've missed my 30 day return window with Amazon now, so I'm kind of stuck dealing with them. Wish me luck.
