This is a terrible product for a drip! I hardly ever leave reviews but as an experienced pastry chef I have to on this one. It is way too runny! Used on a chilled cake and it ran all the way to the bottom. I went very light on the drip itself and it didn't matter it just kept running down the cake. To make it worse it is ineligible for a refund so it was a total waste of money.

I need liquid gold for my cake . And Amazon is my go to . And it went well for my cake .

Wasn’t great but wasn’t awful either. Key is don’t over heat and go slow. I wish it looked smoother but it did the job. Also needs a better taste. Not awful but not good.

I bought this gold glitter edible drip for a 50th birthday cake decoration. I knew better after reading the bad reviews but purchased it anyway thinking maybe others did not apply it correctly. This stuff is absolutely terrible. It was runny and turned into a brownish opaque mess within seconds. It ruined a pretty cake. The cake was cool, it wasn't decorated until the next day. I even refrigerated the drip overnight before using it. It has an odd smell and tastes awful. Luckily the majority of it ran off the cake and didnt ruin the taste of the cake. I higly recommend that you do NOT use this product.

Professional cake maker. I wanted a glittery gold drip and saw this and thought it looked fab…….melted in microwave for a few seconds at a time. Shook it up well and applied it………Absolutely rubbish and dripped straight off the cake! Just had to strip a fully decorated cake and restart

I wanted a gold themed cake, after running pillar to post and breaking my head with lot of bakers I finally decided for this diy product. See the before and afterwards. The drip is exactly what I wanted. the photo might not do justice but the colour does sparkle and it’s thick enough to create the drop effect. Taste wise it’s ok after all it’s a sugar syrup so wasn’t expecting anything different. It can however overwhelm the cake taste so while eating remember. Overall very happy it just changed the look of my cake.
