You need to immediately buy this if you have a child. This is by far one of the best puzzles I have ever seen. It is perfect for little hands, and it is just so cute. My grandson plays with this for over an hour sometimes. You will not be disappointed. Very GOOD craftmanship. Very sturdy. Just overall the best I have seen by far.

What a great puzzle for babies. I ordered this puzzle for my baby, only because the price finally went down a bit. I couldn't understand why it was about $19 for a 4 piece puzzle. But after receiving it, I realized the puzzle is much bigger than expected, and it made of sturdy wood, with 3/4" rounded knobs. My reason for buying this puzzle was also that it features realistic pictures. I would recommend this puzzle to anyone. But you really know need one of this type of puzzle. You would also seek puzzle with the same shape, but different sizes on the same board.

I knew that this puzzle won't have pictures of the inserts underneath, which I think is important for kids that are an age that still require puzzles with big knobs like this puzzle has. I think it is a design flaw that this puzzle doesn't have corresponding pictures underneath the pieces but decided to buy it anyway and figured that I'll simply take pictures of the pieces, print them and glue them inside. So I wouldn't have given the puzzle 5 stars anyway. But I was willing to do that - it's not easy to find puzzles with big knobs that show real pictures of things that are relatable to a young toddler.Upon receipt of the puzzle, it looked exactly as pictured with vibrant colors and a nice smooth surface. However, when we opened it and lifted the puzzle pieces, they were anything but smooth underneath - messy edges, splinters, a rough surface. I'm not sure if we received a fluke or if this is normal. But caution to anyone who intends to gove this as a gift - I would remove the plastic and check how the puzzle pieces look underneath before gifitng it.Usually if there is a couple of rough edges when I buy something made of wood for our daughter, I use some sandpaper to smooth it over myself. But since the whole surface underneath the puzzle pieces was like this, it was just too much work - so we returned it.

Really large pieces with large knobs and perfect for a young toddler to learn how to do puzzles.

My son has been resistant to learning to alphabet until I got this alligator puzzle! Since he loves animals, he was instantly attracted to the puzzle. The knobs are great for picking up and putting back the pieces. I also like how all the letters are in black font. FYI since there are so many pieces of varying sizes, figuring out the right spot can be a little tricky at first.

Got this product for 18-28 mo classroom and the pieces are easy to remove, pictures crisp and not peeling, but there’s no matching picture on the board where each piece goes. Kids can’t figure it out, even with teaching and help.

Great quality

Not impressed. I gave this a chance even though it is made in China because it is such a great Montessori learning tool with realistic pictures. I received the item today and it is VERY poorly made with glue sticking out from the sides of every knob. I am not sure how non-toxic this glue is. Young children like to chew on things and feel things out with their mouths and there should not be visible glue in a children's item. Amazon has issued a replacement and if the replacement is different I will update this review accordingly. I have contacted the manufacturer as well.

Es la segunda vez que pido el articulo ofertado y en las dos ocasiones me han enviado algo totalmente diferente. Nada recomendable hacer pedido de este producto.

La imagen del producto no coincide con la descripción. Lo compré pensando que eran instrumentos musicales.El rompecabezas se ve bien, pero no es de la mejor calidad. Las piezas no están bien lijadas y todavía sueltan polvo de madera.
