As somebody who enjoys the Samyang brands of ramen, I decided to see how this is. Flavorwise, I can certainly know that this is hot but I have noticed a slight curry flavor but it is not overwhelming so it retains the typical spicy chicken flavor. It's something to try if you're curious about other brands of hot ramen out there.

Great tasting and Spicy as can be!

I love, love, love this flavor! If you grow tired of Samyang Buldak noodles or just want to try different kind of brand and flavor, I recommend these! The flavor is sweet, just DELICIOUS! Also SPICY! The heat level is about the same as Samyang’s original fire noodles, but with this one you feel the heat right away. Let me give some tips: to water down the spice a little bit, use more water when mixing in the sauce, also you can put a little bit of teriyaki glaze in the noodles. AWESOME TASTE!!!

I honestly love this ramen just for their noodles, which are thick and mealy compared to maruchan or top ramen. The flavors are good but the heat is a bit too heat, or rather, the flavor of the heat detracts from the flavors of everything else. I'm buying again but till likely do my own seasoning to the noodles.

These were delicious! Very lacking on the spice level though from the way it’s advertised. It has more of a sweet saucy flavor than spicy, but like I said that flavor is super tasty and I love the noodles!

Noodles arrived a day earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise. The size of the packets are also pretty good too. I wasn't expecting it to be spicy, as I've had the samyang fire noodles before but this is definitely spicy enough, just on a lower level. The taste is pretty good too, I wasn't expecting such a nice flavor. The only thing for me is that it has a fishy smell to it, similar to tteokbokki. I checked the package and it said it contains fish/crustaceans/shellfish, but nowhere in the ingredients was it listed. Not a big problem for me, but others might want to know what it contains. All in all, a pretty good purchase, it is just the smell that I struggle to get past; for that, I give this 3 or 3.5 stars.

This is not your college dorm ramen noodle. The chicken (or rooster, IDK) on the cover breathing fire should let you know that this is serious stuff. Unfurtunately, I am writing this review days after eating other noodles. But, I believe this is one of the noodles that have you boil for a period of time, remove all but a small (20 mL) of water and then add in the flavor packets to "stir fry." If you like hot foods, definately give this a try. If you steer away from hot foods, do not go anywhere near this. Note: There is a lot of flavor to the sauce to go with the noodles, so this isn't just food to dare a person to eating hot stuff. It does have a legitamate flavor to appreciate.

Extremely spicy at first but I got used to it. The less water you keep in the noodles before adding the sauce packet the spicier it gets. It left my mouth on fire for about 15 minutes after eating. The flavor is really good however if you can handle the spic. Recommend to eat with vegetables. Overall very good will try again.

If you were ever wondering what your esophagus tasted like... All seriousness these were good. Too much for me though but the kids and I had fun eating them. If burning hot noodles are your thing buy these. They do taste good but then they get ya!

So, I've been a big fan of the Samyang 2 x spicy ones for some time now and refused point blank to try any other brand! However, it seems the Samyang ones are getting more and more expensive so decided to find a cheaper alternative. After checking out some reviews I decided to give these a try, and although you only get 4 packs instead of the 5 you get with Samyang they still work out cheaper at around £5 odd for the 4 pack instead of £9 I was paying for the 5 pack of Samyang ones! Anyway, WOW! these in my honest opinion are just as nice! They still offer that insane heat intensity, don't think they are as hot as the Samyang 2 X Spicy ones but they are very very close to it and the actual taste is pretty much the same with that nice subtle sweet after taste. All in all very very similar and definitely recommend! I like to fry up some small pieces of broccoli with onion and green beans until fried right through, cook the noodles separately as per instructions then in the final stage of cooking the noodles just after you add the hot sauce and coat all the noodles I then add that to the wok or frying pan and coat the vegetables and fry for a minute or 2.... The best! quick delivery as well.... Enjoy!
