I got the Moredig Night Light Projector with remote back in 2021, and it’s still going strong in 2026! My kids love it—the soft light isn’t too bright, and we especially love the green and blue colors. The remote makes it super easy to use, and it’s been really durable. A fun and cozy addition to our nights.

Edit: I’m editing my review from a 2 star to 5 star because the seller reached out to me to let me know the nightlight comes with a lifetime warranty and they sent me a new unit! Great service!! My daughter kept on asking for a projection night light for her room and I was happy to find this one on Amazon. She loves it and I liked all the features even though the pictures projected on the walls aren’t crisp. It has different light color settings and plays music, great. But I’m disappointed only after three months the spinning motor isn’t working properly, starts spinning and now makes an extremely loud gearing noise. We had to stop using the spinning function which was her favorite part about this night light. Still usable but not worth it if it’s going to stop working only within a few months.

We use this as a night light for our toddler. He loves this thing so much, he'll throw a fit without it. Product has great features. Plenty bright enough, but not OVERLY bright. It has three "covers": two will project patterns (space or animals) and the other is like a clear frosted texture that makes the light just a glowing orb. We use the space overlay exclusively. It projects clear images onto the ceiling about 4ft above the dresser it sits on. Best to sit it at least 1-2ft fron the wall if possible or the projection on the wall will be weird and warped-- not a big deal though. Several color options to choose from (blue, green, red, or a combo of any 2, or all 3. or solid yellowish white like a normal light bulb color). There are also a rotate feature, a timer function, and music. The music is not for us, quite distracting, but your opinion may vary. Our kid gets up sometimes and turns EVERYTHING on--music, lights, rotation, and it ends up being like a nauseating, creepy children's disco party. But anyway.. My only complaint is it's kind of cheaply made. This thing sees at least 10hrs of continuous use EVERY night, and the lights and all that held up well. But the power port broke internally after owning this about 9 months. And we rarely move it or remove/re-insert the power cord. HOWEVER, Moredig gives a lifetime warranty on this product, which we put to use. I contacted them via Amazon and there was no hassle whatsoever, they sent us out a replacement promptly. I'd prefer if the product was a little more stoutly made in those critical (and vulnerable) areas in the first place, but the lifetime warranty and great customer service compensate well enough for that deficiency. The new unit has a USB-C port, vs. the older version with USB micro. So maybe the weakness issue with the port was addressed too, we'll see. Overall, I'd still very much recommend it.

My child loved it. It has a remote control, touch control, and two layers of designs—one with animals and the other with astronauts. It also has built-in music, four types of lights with different color options (yellow, blue, green, and red), which can be combined or set individually, and the light can be set to steady or motion-activated. It's made of good material and is very high quality; it feels very durable.

I absolutely love this night light!! My kids are in love with the projections and especially love when all three colors are going and when the projection is rotating making them feel like they are part of an aquarium. 🐠🐬🐳🐟🐡 The music is very calming, and the remote control is easy enough for my four year old son to control on his own. This is an excellent night light and I would suggest this to anyone who is looking for a very cool night light that is easy to function. Update: we bought two of these projection lamps one for my son and the other for my daughter, my daughters ended up with an issue where the rotation kept sticking and was rotating around smoothly. I contacted moredigs customer service and they responded quite quickly and requested I sent a video of the issue. After doing so they offered a full refund or to send a new one. I chose the new one since my children really love them as do we and they simply asked for the order number and we are expecting the new one very soon. I’m extremely satisfied with the customer service and as I have said a very great product. ❤️

I have really liked this so far, but am unable to use some of the key features because it doesn't come with a battery for the remote. I think for $27 it should at least come with a battery for the remote, especially since it doesnt come with batteries for the main component or an ac adapter to plug into, (which I had one so that wasn't an issue). And I do realize the description says it doesn't come with batteries, but it also said you needed AAA or AA, but the remote battery is a coin battery. Pros: *Brightness is great, brighter than our other star projector *film pictures are cute/fun *rotation is super quiet *rotation is slower than other projectors, but I like this speed better *music doesn't sound bad, and there is a volume control (we don't use the music feature much). Cons: *doesn't come with remote battery * films are flimsy and do not attach to base well (slide out and stop when the base is rotating) *I dont like that the on/off button is a hard press button on the back of the device, wish it was on the front at least (and possible the same touch sensitive as the rest of the buttons). ***Will update review about the other features when I get a battery for the remote in a couple days. For anyone wondering the remote battery is a CR2025, order when ordering the projector to save you some hassle. Also. Make sure your ac adapter you use has the right output so as to not cause a fire or damage to the product.

This has been a fantastic addition to our kids’ nighttime routine. Not only is the product itself impressive, but the customer service provided by the vendor was exceptional. I initially ordered two of these lamps for my kids’ rooms. After about a month, one of the lamps stopped working. I reached out to customer service, and to my surprise, they arranged for a replacement the very next day. It’s rare to find such prompt and hassle-free service these days, and it truly elevated my confidence in the brand. Both of my kids adore the lamp. The colorful projections and soothing melodies have transformed bedtime into a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Thanks to this lamp, they’ve been sleeping through the night in their own rooms, which has been a game-changer for our family. This lamp is not just a product but a solution. Highly recommended for its functionality, affordability, and outstanding customer support! Rating: 5/5

I’ll just quickly run through some things to get to the whole reason I’m giving this a one star. First, the LEDs are very bright, even at their most dim, and lots of big holes in the film means you and your child will often get an eye full of direct, bright, LEDs. But the unit itself is sturdy, controls are easy, and the features are really nice. Parts of it feels really cheap though. The remote feels like I could break it if I looked at it wrong, and the battery compartment of the remote is extremely difficult to open and also feels very flimsy and low quality. That’s the bulk of the small parts. My main complaint: the films are almost impossible to switch out. Not only did I, and my engineer husband, struggle greatly to change the film, we accidentally damaged one of them trying to put it into the holes of the base, and ultimately we’re unsuccessfully in putting the new one in. We figured that we were obviously doing it wrong and decided to consult the manual prior to doing the second film and potentially damaging it as well. Nope. The “instructions”, if you can call that piss poor excuse for documentation instructions, simply say “remove film, put new one in” and show arrows to line up the wholes. Yeah. That doesn’t work at all. So now we have the only undamaged film just precariously perched atop the unit so we can use the light and not damage the film. The opaque white cover is extremely easy to put on and take off and also one of the coolest parts of the unit. Why, exactly, can the films not be as easy to take on/off as the opaque cover?! It makes no sense. This may not be a major issue for other prospective buyers but I can’t recommend a product that is this easy to damage with as poor documentation as this to literally anyone, whether I care for them or not. I hope I’m one of the very few who struggles with this. Had I known this prior to buying I would have happily paid more money to another company to get a better quality product that is easier to use or has better instructions.... or both.
