Good quality on first impression. Looking for a ‘spider’ and this looked interesting. Bought it to remove the pasta from the pasta water so that i could access the water to add to the dish more easily. Works.

The main scoop section is excellent it has a superb surface area and drains fantastically well it would have gotten a perfect score except for the handle, it's terrible, it is smooth metal that is all gentle curves meaning when grease and steam are introduced to the equation it get extremely difficult to grip securely, so if the load you are scooping isn't centred it can easily spin in your grip dumping everything on the floor. there are workarounds (using two hands, a towel or latex pad). The flaw in this handle design can and should be easily fixed, adding texture to the metal (knurling), adding a latex pad, shaping the handle so it is less oval and has more "edges" to grip (just flattening it could work) are just a few solutions that spring to mind.

Well made with smooth edges. Washed up in the dishwasher perfectly with no signs of rust. Quite large and holds a lot of food, making stir frying a breeze. Very happy with this purchase.

The spoons are as advertised—well-crafted, easy to use, and easy to clean. I bought the large spoon individually, but the smaller spoon isn’t sold separately, so I had to buy this set. If you’re thinking of buying the large spoon alone, I recommend getting the set instead because the smaller spoon isn’t available individually. They’re the perfect sizes and very useful—a must-have in the kitchen. I ended up wanting the smaller spoon also for smaller tasks. The larger spoon scoops out about 3-4 cups of food out of a pot or pan. The small spoon scoops out about 1-2 cups. They’re wonderful! Both spoons are a must-have!
