I love Corelle dishes for their light weight, classic look, durability, and for being microwave safe. They are the best everyday dishes I’ve ever owned. The bowls that come with the basic set are on the small side, which limits their use - not really good for soup, salads, or kids’ cereal, so I decided to see if there are bigger bowls available. To my great delight I found these! They are PERFECT. I ordered a set for my daughter as well as myself, since she has Corelle dishes, too. I am extremely happy with these and wish I had found them sooner!

These Corelle 28-oz bowls have become my go-to bowl for everyday use. I use them constantly for everything, and the size is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The biggest advantage is the capacity. Many bowls feel too small and require you to be careful not to spill when mixing or eating. These give plenty of room, which makes them much more comfortable to use for larger portions. The build quality is excellent. Dishwasher safe, and don’t easily scratch. The triple-layer glass feels thick and durable while still being lightweight enough for daily use. I also appreciate that they’re glass rather than plastic, which was an important factor for me. Overall, the combination of size, durability, and simple design makes these bowls a great addition to any kitchen. Great price for the number of bowls you get. If you’re looking for a larger bowl that feels well built and holds up to everyday use, this set is an easy recommendation.

I don't want to spill anything in this never eats at a table culture of ours and these are perfect. Grits will still spill over in the microwave, even so. They stack well. They're nearly indestructible. And they will sort of match whatever else you have because they are so plain.

When you get into your 60s you are likely to be set in your ways. :) So being able to STILL buy brands that your mother bought and relied upon but which have improved and/or have updated designs for your modern life is always a bonus! My mother relied upon CorningWear bakeware and pots and CorelleWear dinnerware for most of my life. The fact that both Corning and Corelle were relatively inexpensive, but sturdier than melamine, and lighter than stoneware made it, and still makes it a great option for everyday cookware and dinnerware. I have since introduced family and friends to the beauty of both brands (and was pleasantly surprised when I had to replace some of mine recently to find that Corning now sells Visions again! but I digress!) I have shown college roommates the beauty of how Corelle is versatile and nearly indestructible (and when you *do* manage to drop it from high enough or knock it off a counter with enough force, to actually break it, it doesn't shatter everywhere like regular glass, but breaks into shards which are less likely to cut you when you clean it up. (Caution is still necessary, of course, but it's the best stuff I've ever used, in my opinion). I rated it only a 4 on "Easy to clean" because I recently learned that you're not supposed to soak Corelle Livingware "for an extended period of time", something I wasn't aware of until recently, when an apartment flood resulted in me having to abandon my apartment for extended lengths of time with dishes sitting in the sink. I purchased more Corelleware to replace what was stained by that abuse. I also didn't realize that there were cautions about certain uses when microwaving using your Corelle (the bowls these replaced were regularly used to heat up chili and soups ;) ), so make sure to read the use and care information before the first use. Both Corning and Corelle *ARE* microwave safe and dishwasher safe, but there are some precautions you'll want to observe to keep them in great condition, and Corelle plates will warm up a bit, so use caution. But simply reading the use and care information that comes with your product, or visiting their website should be enough to keep you on track. Oh! And apparently Corelle now has Stoneware if you like stoneware! ;)

I love these bowls, they’re the perfect size for salads or soups. You don’t have to worry about the content spilling over. They look nice and are sturdy. I like the white color because it goes with anything. They were a little expensive but I’m happy with them.

I bought 12 of these, they don't stain they clean well and they will last for the rest of my life.. I also bought the silicone covers for these that seal perfectly I use these to serve store and then reheat... cut down on my dishes by 50%

Absolutely chuffed with these large bowls. They are large and roomy. Great for a winter stew even for the hungriest of bellies.

Estoy muy satisfecha con este juego de cuencos. Tienen el tamaño ideal para sopa, cereal, fruta o cualquier comida del día. Son ligeros, pero al mismo tiempo se sienten muy resistentes y de excelente calidad. Me gusta que no ocupan mucho espacio al guardarlos y su diseño clásico combina fácilmente con cualquier vajilla. Después de varios usos y lavadas, se mantienen como nuevos. Sin duda, son una excelente opción para el uso diario. La calidad de Corelle se nota y definitivamente los volvería a comprar.
