Americanflat 16x20 Poster Frame - Engineered Wood - Black

Americanflat has become my go-to brand for getting photos and artwork out of storage and onto the walls. I've purchased several of their frames recently, and this one continues the trend. What I liked: * clean, attractive appearance * good value for the price * available in uncommon sizes * easy way to avoid custom framing costs * consistent quality These aren't gallery-quality frames, but they're not trying to be. Most of my artwork consists of prints from local artists and personal photos, and for that purpose they're an excellent fit. They look nice once they're on the wall without costing a fortune. One thing I especially appreciate is the variety of sizes Americanflat offers. It's surprisingly difficult to find frames for less common print dimensions, and having an off-the-shelf option can save a significant amount compared to having custom mats cut or ordering a custom frame. If the size you need is available in Americanflat's Signature Collection, I'd recommend taking a look at those as well. I think they're a noticeable step up in fit and finish for only a little more money. Unfortunately, that line doesn't include every size, so sometimes this collection is the only practical choice. I've been happy with every Americanflat frame I've purchased so far, and this one is no exception. If you need a well-made, reasonably priced frame—especially in an uncommon size—it's an easy recommendation.

It's a very nice frame. Well made with wood, not plastic. The hooks on the back are sturdy and worked well. I would buy it again.

Although I should, I rarely take the time write reviews here. This frame was so fabulous that I had to hop and write one. I was looking for a cute substantial poster frame after bringing one home from a local store that turned out to be a real hot mess. This frame was everything I was hoping for. It is sturdy, the plexiglass is completely wrapped for care, and it was delivered quickly and in excellent condition. It worked out perfectly. If you are searching for a well priced sturdy well made frame, go ahead and order this one. The corners are tight and it hangs nicely on the wall. A win for sure.

I like the frame size. While the frame is sturdy, there are issues with the corners of the frame. Looks like the corners were chipped and painted over, as a different color black paint is noticeable. The plexiglass is of good quality. It serves the purpose I needed for the size of my puzzle.

Great looking basic frame for concert posters. Easy to use

It is what it says. Looks nice and professional. One of mine came in broke, I reached out to the company and had a replacement within 2 days. I was very impressed by that

My son went to a comicon thing in Las Vegas a while back. He bought some cool looking posters that were rolled up when he got home. After months of him talking about getting a few frame, I finally ordered this one for him. If you can see it in the picture - this was a Star Wars poster. I like this frame because they have matching ones in other sizes. That means I can get more that match. It is easy to put a poster in and it looks great without much trouble. Very easy to set up and use. The cost on these wasn’t terrible, either. I compared frames and decided on this. The size was a little different and I was surprised this was available. I thought he might not find the right size frame. The frame is lightweight but hangs straight. I will be getting three more for the other posters - all of different sizes yet this company has them in this style!

This is the first review I have ever posted. My wife told me it was about time to order frames for two posters. They were different sizes so I had to order from two different companies. Both frames served our purposes, but there were significant differences between the two frames, which leads me to highly recommend this company's product. The swivel tabs were much easier to use than bending metal tabs up to open down to close (avoiding possible cuts). Opening and closing the swivel tabs takes just moving your fingers left to right or up and down along the line of the borders. Plus, the plexiglass, which showed no signs of scratches came with easy remove plastic coverings on both sides. The frame that I bought was 20 x 24. It came two hanger hooks on two sides to allow for vertical or horizontal use.

This is the first time I write a review because I looked for a frame for months for a very special gift. Believe me I’m a perfectionist, I had my eyes on another handmade frame before this one and was devastated when the owner canceled my order last minute. Anyway I bought this frame as a backup plan but it ended up exceeding my expectations and looked even better than the frame I wanted before this one. I honestly wanted to take a picture to post in my review but I forgot and now I already gave it as a gift (sorry! Lol). Anyway I’ll list all the pros: -Looks just like the picture displayed (It’s a smooth frame with a good balance of shine and matt and looks very sophisticated) -Flexible Plexiglass thats hard to break and doesn’t glare light -Perfectly in line frame corners -Same exact size as advertised (I used it for an 18x24 inch poster) -Light weight -Easy to hang (has both side and top hooks to be used for hanging and comes with a wire to hang) -Safely packaged with not a single scratch or even the slightest damaged (by the way I shipped this to Saudi Arabia and was super worried it would arrive looking dodgy. It had foam in the box + extra protection on the corners to protect the frame itself and the plexiglass had a protector on both sides to be peeled off...it looked brand new)

Merci!

My photo looks great in it. Easy to mount

The frame looks great and was easy to put together however it is very Flimsy and fell apart as soon as it was hung. The clear plastic broke. Very disappointing for $100.

I am a painter and needed a large frame to display one of mine. I like that there are multiple frame widths (I like simple black with a wider matte, because my paintings are very colourful. This was decently priced and is very decent quality. The plexiglass is nice and thick. I will buy more of these for sure.
