I did test one of these out on a large broken piece of glass in our shed just to see what would happen. It was a bit of a press, you need to really press.. but… It worked!! WILL REPURCHASE.. A lot of these other advertised window escape tools I have bought like the one that looks like a screw driver never seemed to work. I tested that on the asphalt outside and it never discharged. ORIGINAL REPOSTED REVIEWS: I can't emphasize enough how important this emergency keychain is! It's a lifesaver in unexpected situations. The built-in tools for breaking glass and cutting seatbelts are easy to use and incredibly handy in emergencies. I feel much safer knowing I have this keychain with me while driving. It's a must-have for anyone concerned about their safety on the road. Highly recommended If you’ve never had any gadgets for your car you NEED this one. I was recently in a car crash and my door jammed causing me to be stuck in the car. I used my resqme to guide me to safety and I thank God for that, along with my quick thinking this tool saved my life.

This is the second Resqme I’ve owned and highly recommend them. I feel much safer having this safety device with me at all times. It has a window breaker and seatbelt cutter. It fits easily on a set of keys and is easy to take on and off. I bought this for myself but it would also make a great gift for anyone.

Everyone needs one of these in their car and why not make it cute?? I love that you can also make it into a keychain!!

Got one for me and one for my Mom. Handy to have, small enough for keychain.

I wish I could test it to see if it really works but it came with a keyring and a small ziptie. Hopefully I never have to use it but it's nice to have for emergency.

This is a must for any vehicle. It can save your life or other people's lives. Chose a nice bright color so it's easy to find. Definitely a gift for any driver or any new driver.

Haven’t needed to use it and hopefully never will. Feels much safer having it on me than not. Only thing is the razor has gotten a bit rusty although it’s never been used. Not a big deal though.

Ce Resqme fuchsia ne quitte jamais mon porte-clés. Je l’ai toujours avec moi au travail et je le considère comme indispensable en cas d’urgence. Compact, léger et facile d’accès, il rassure vraiment. Un petit outil simple mais essentiel !

I haven't had to use the window breaker part yet (and hope not to need to), but I can say that the knife part of the tool works really well. I've already used it twice when I've needed to cut open some heavy fabric in a pinch. The blade is very sharp. Very handy to have on my keychain.
