A nice looking bedside radio that does mostly everything I need.
My quest for a DAB radio that ticked all boxes was a long one. Strictly speaking, it's not over. However, the Azatom Revial R1 is as close to perfect as I've found so far and I have to say, I'm happy with it. My previous Ocean Digital radio was approximately 15 years old. The screen started going and I knew it was time to find another one. I went through several Pure radios (Elan, Siesta), VQ, Denver and not one of them could tick all boxes. The must haves were DAB, 2 alarms, decent sound and good dimming qualities - not such a tall order I don't think. The closest that I came to this was with the Denver radio, but it was just too bright at night. In came the Azatom radio - DAB+, good sound, 2 alarms and a button to toggle the dimming of the screen. Whilst I still feel the dimming could be slightly better, you can turn it off completely if you wish. The fact you can easily toggle the brightness gets the thumbs up from me. The radio is easy to operate once you get the hang of it, looks sleek and smart and it also has a metal antenna as opposed to the cable antenna, which I much prefer. It's picked up all the stations I was looking for and so far I am happy with how it's performed. You have the option of a buzzer alarm or radio, which is great. There's also a steady increase in the radio volume in the morning which I think is a nice touch. You can also control the volume as you like for the alarm. On many other radios I've tried the minimum volume for the alarm is so high, it would wake you with such a start - why oh why would anyone create a radio like this is beyond me. No such problem with the Azatom though :)As a side note: I noticed that when I first tuned the radio and it started playing Absolute 80s, the time was off by 1 minute. I e-mailed Azatom who were very quick to respond and told me that it was likely based on the radio station I was listening to. I changed the station to Planet Rock but it was still a minute out. However, unplugging the radio and leaving it for a moment before powering it back on sorted it straight away. You also have the bonus of being able to register your product for an extended 3 year warranty. I think this shows they trust their product. Thank you Azatom :)

Good clock for the price.
I did lots and lots of research to try to find a radio alarm clock for my kitchen. My old one eventually gave up and I wanted a clock which had the ability to come on in radio mode alarm setting. For me, this clock is almost perfect. Black and silver suit my kitchen colours. It has good clear blue display and very good radio signal on FM - Dab not so but then that is perhaps due to poor reception where I live. I found the alarm setting a bit fiddly and the buttons a bit difficult to make out however, for the money, I am very pleased and would buy another. The volume of the alarm is more than adequate for my needs.

Great clock radio..British Made 👍🏼
Really pleased with this alarm clock radio. It’s neat and easy to set up..the sound quality is great for a small radio.Lots of handy functions like being able to charge your phone and has Bluetooth and headphone socket. You can change the backlight from bright to almost black. Just plug in and being DAB+ just came on with right time and date then started scanning. Easy peasy!

Decent Price - Reasonable Item
Fairly decent bedside alarm for the price. Sound quality and functionality not bad, given that it is a bedside device. Settings and push buttons a little bit rudimentary, but again, given price it is ok. Looks fairly nice at bedside. Despite initial concerns with buttons / settings, soon got used to it, and after 2 or 3 weeks of use, could use the settings I use on regular basis by touch without even looking. So for me, I am happy with this DAB radio alarm. It suits my needs fine.

Works great
Looks great, works very well. Did my research and this came out tops for the cost and I have not been disappointed. The alarm wakes me 100% of the time but gently as I have it on its quietest and set to my fave radio station. No more loud alarms 🚨 waking the whole house. It saves the alarm details so if the power is interrupted your alarm is still programmed 😃Also gets it’s time from the DAB so no worries there!Love the retro look but modern qualities.Sturdy and robust. Great value for money. Defo recommend! The alarm takes a bit to figure but to be fair it’s easy enough once ya know how. It’s no more complicated than any other alarm clock. I think the people that complained in their reviews must never have had a proper alarm clock before. No more need for mobile phone in the bedroom. Do your research here, worst thing is to let your kids have a phone in the bedroom, especially for their sleep. Very hypocritical to keep your own if they are not allowed. Eaiser to have a ‘house rule’.

Didn't work with most of the DAB stations
Wanted to support a British company.Didn't work with most of the DAB stations. Feels cheap. Had to pay to return it.
