A pleasure to type on, not noisy or over clicky but a lovely tactile firm feel. Build quality is top notch with classy expensive looks. I am a fan of low profile chiclet type keyboards and if you love the chiclet style and want a mechanical assured feel with top teir RGB features and full Corsair ICUE support with extensive options. Then this is the keyboard for you. Not only fanatastic for gaming but general office work is a joy on this keyboard too. I have tried many other top brand gaming keyboards both chiclet and normal and none come close in typing performance and of this keyboard or styling. Nothing beats corsair for its Icue software and its many many features and tunability. There is only one downside to this keyboard and that is obviously price, yes its very high. I purchased at an offer price and it was still very expensive and i was unsure if it was worth the money?. Now i have the keyboard it wont be going back. Yes its too expensive but IMHO it is the best keyboard you can buy

I have. This is easily the best keyboard I have ever owned — when it works. It has a comfortable weight, especially if you use it on your lap, it is stupidly pleasant to type on, and it is very, very easy to keep clean. In day-to-day use, I genuinely loved it. The problem is reliability. This is my second K100 AIR RGB, fortunately replaced through RMA, and it has developed the exact same point of failure as the first: the left side of the spacebar stops actuating, or gets stuck actuating, depending on its mood. The spacebar — one of the most-used keys on the entire keyboard and easily the most maddeningly frustrating point of failure. Worse, this is not a keyboard you can easily maintain. You cannot simply replace the buffers or swap the switch. If something minor goes wrong, you are left with having to replace it. That is what makes it so frustrating. Corsair is one of those ridiculous companies that gets *so much right* while simultaneously getting *so much wrong*. Every Corsair peripheral I have owned has failed within months. They are splendid, right up until they become expensive doorstops. The unfortunate fact is that Corsair’s excellence is *not* in peripherals. I have four Logitech mice in my household that have survived for years. Not one Corsair peripheral has lasted a year. This is an excellent keyboard in feel, design, and comfort, but it *will* fail. Save your money, and your patience.

I’ve been using the Corsair K100 AIR for about a month now, and it’s completely changed how I feel about wireless keyboards. First off, the thing is insanely thin—it’s probably the sleekest keyboard I’ve ever owned. I wasn’t sure if such a low-profile design would feel right, but the Cherry MX Ultra Low Profile switches are surprisingly satisfying. They’re quiet, responsive, and make typing and gaming a breeze. What really stands out for me is the build quality. The aluminum frame not only looks premium but feels solid, even though the keyboard is so slim. It’s a perfect fit for my desk setup, which I try to keep clean and minimalist. Plus, the RGB lighting is gorgeous. I had way too much fun customizing it with Corsair’s iCUE software, and the effects are smooth and vibrant. The wireless connection has been flawless so far. I switch between Bluetooth for my work laptop and Corsair’s Slipstream for gaming on my PC, and it’s seamless every time. The battery life is also great—I’m getting a few days of heavy use with the lighting on, which is better than I expected for such a feature-packed keyboard. One small nitpick is the price. It’s definitely on the higher end, but I feel like you’re paying for a premium product that delivers on both design and functionality. If you’re someone who wants a keyboard that’s as good for typing as it is for gaming, and you love a sleek, futuristic aesthetic, the K100 AIR is absolutely worth checking out. - You can connect multiple Corsair wireless devices with one USB receiver, but using more than one device might slightly increase latency for gaming. - Lower the RGB brightness or turn it off to make the battery last longer. - Use the onboard memory to save different setups for work or gaming. - Bluetooth is great for casual use, while Slipstream works best for gaming. You can pair with up to three devices via Bluetooth.

It is a joy to type on, the sound and the travel distance is fantastic. The programmable keys, wheel and other functionality are very welcomed. However, I have encountered some problems in the first 12 months. Some of the keycaps have come off more than once. On 2 occasions, the switch mechanism has come apart. This mechanism is extremely fiddly to reassemble. I suppose this is just the complex nature of such ultra low profile mechanical switches. Unfortunately, I did manage to warp one of the springs a little and now that key does not quite have the same typing/feel. I ended up moving it to the Scroll Lock key, which I barely use. I also had an issue with the spacebar key. The left side of the key stopped registering properly and I had to take it off to see why. In doing so, the key almost snapped (my fault for not being careful). Typical for a spacebar key, the switch is in the middle and then the left and right sides have a scissor-switch style mechanism, minus the switch. Given this experience, my opinion is this stabilisation approach is subpar, especially compared with my Keychron keyboard. After a couple of attempts at reattaching the key, it seemed to function normally. However, there's now a hairline crack in the spacebar key. Which brings me to my final point. There's nobody making keycaps for these switches. You can't even buy replacement ones from Corsair. There is a Github repository with 3D models so you might print them yourself, but these won't feel the same or have shine-through for the lettering. All in all, it's hard to recommend the keyboard. If keycaps were readily available and replacement mechanism parts (mainly the springs), I'd be more inclined to score it highly. But a £270 keyboard which will become e-waste at the first sign of a keycap breaking is very concerning, even if there is a 2 year warranty.

This keyboard is exceptional if these 'laptop' style keys are your thing. For me typing is very fast with very few, if any mistakes. This of course comes down to personal use. For me this includes general typing of emails etc, but also graphic design, music production & gaming, with this keyboard suiting me for all uses. Excellent lighting, response, battery life, construction & support directly from Corsair. Easily configurable using the iCue software that I already use for Corsair components in my pc, which for me is permanently running in the background. Without iCue configuration, this keyboard can still be used with onboard light settings. The price for a new (unused) unit for some, might seem very high, as was the case for me initially. However, with keyboards (& mice) being the most used interfaces, it makes sense to have the best, most comfortable & suitable items you can get, especially if you spend a lot of time using a computer. Same applies to desk & chair. 10/10 for the keyboard.1/10 for the seller not making it clear that they sell used units

I was loving this keyboard until yesterday... Then one of the keys just disintegrated and fell apart... fortunately it's the key I have never used before, but the first time I have ever wanted to use that key, it just fell apart. The key is the `¬ key (the one next to the '1' key. It still works with the touch of my finger but now the keyboard just looks ugly. At least using iCUE I have managed to turn the key off (well turned it black colour) so it is not glaring out. The other negative is the rubber strip on the bottom that stops it sliding about has also come off. Up to this point I like the keyboard - especially being able to switch it between my 3 different rigs at a touch of a button. For a keyboard that cost me £229 back in September, I would expect far better quality.

I came from the previous K100 and was actively at the time looking to improve my workstation ergonomics browsing countless reviews of different keyboards, after experts recommended slim keyboards this one came out at the perfect time, and its extremely low profile allows your wrists when typing to stay straight, as well as not requiring as much distance for your hands to be raised, and for the keys to be pressed resulting in less strain on finger joints. I type faster and more comfortably after quickly getting used to this and LOVE the switches so far. I was initially very sceptical after seeing the high price, but factoring in the fact this uses the state of the art genuine Cherry slim switches the price starts to make sense as its new tech, as well as just a gorgeous looking item on my desk, it's low enough that you don't need a wrist rest either so you again gain more space on your desk. Plus you lose that (in my opinion) unsightly option wheel from the previous generation. I use mine in a permanently connected configuration, but you can use this wirelessly for multiple devices which are easy to switch between including a Playstation using the three bluetooth keys.

Best keyboard I've ever purchased, been going strong since November 2024 and no signs of wearing out. However, after a year and a half of use it is now a little grubby and because the chassis is sealed and the battery non-removable you really can't clean it so I can't give it 5 stars. It is expensive for what it is, but since this is pretty much one of a kind and no other brand makes a mechanical keyboard this low profile I also get why it is so expensive. Wish there was a more budget option for this style because having a mechanical keyboard with the profile of a laptop keyboard is incredible for speed typing and key are so responsive, but I will not be buying another one when this fails because I just don't think that the price justifies the inability to maintain it. No issues with the keys so far, but if any start failing then the keyboard becomes junk because they use a butterfly mechanism which you can't replace.
