Bought for school
I bought this for Anatomy and Physiology courses. It works well enough to get through the classes. I wish I would've bought one that connects to the phone or computer but this is great for the cost!

The stage doesn't move!
The microscope is ok with one critical drawback- they didn't design the stage to move! So you're supposed to, like, poke the slide around with your finger in order to scan over a slide??? This makes the microscope pretty much worthless. I am using it to look at aquarium related things, like scraping of fish slime coats, samples of water, etc. Returning this item and getting something that actually functions.

Need to know about microscopes
The microscope is adequate, but the instruction manual in worthless. It doesn't mention the batteries or the light function. It doesn't talk about focusing. Fortunately I have experience with microscopes. NOT for the inexperienced.
