Great for severe edema
I know a man with such swelling in his feet it takes an act if God to get any type of shoes on him. He was going stocking footed outside if he didn't have someone to help him put his shoes on. We live in MN and that is not a good option for him. I referred him for shoes at a local provider and he tried on a pair that were slightly bigger than the ones he has so he was going to order them for $160. I told him we could do better and ordered a pair of these. He was overjoyed to get them and can easily put them on himself. He told me proudly that he wore them to go to town and went in the bank. I really think these should be advertised as edema shoes...how many elderly people with severe edema even know these exist? He was so pleased that he asked me to order a second pair for him...still less than 1/2 the cost of the other shoes he was going to get.

The sizing here is terrible. Both width and length are not as described.
The sizing here is terrible. Both width and length are sot as described. My toe hung off the end and the over the top vecro was small. Is says for surgery if you have any swelling these will be going back like mine. Amazon should check these vendors as I find a lot of them over state in their descriptions. I cannot tell you what size to order. The XL's might have fit a size ten and the width of the sole was lacking, regular width at best. Also the foot bed has no cushioning at all. It is a very hard surface. Order at your own risk. Delivery was slow, over a week. All in all the description is wishful, I think they are describing some other shoe.

Runs small
This ran very small. I have a broken pinky toe and have a blue one currently (from the orthopedic doctor) and wanted one that was more neutral. This didn’t fit the same and wasn’t comfortable. I’m returning it and wouldn’t recommend it.
