Need help, installed and will not work at all but once I put the old battery in everything works I’m sure it a defect part I got

A great and cheap save for your scan tool
I am on my third autel scan tool due to the prior two that I've had no longer holding a charge and being pretty much $1,000 paperweight because they don't turn on and can't hold a charge. This time around I decided to entertain changing out the battery and the scan tool works just like the day came out of the box ny, I couldn't be happier
