Perfect food for my lizards

I feed this yummy goodness (per my Cresties, cause they clean their cups😊) to my breeding pair and they love it. It lasts about 3 weeks it’s healthy for the breeders and it’s easy to make. There really isn’t a smell and it’s an ok value for the money. I purchased the 2oz resealable bag.

I bought some ZooMed powdered food at the pet store and tried feeding that while my Pangea foods were being shipped. The ZooMed was fine and she licked it a bit before losing interest. For a baby/juvenile gecko that's not unusual, and I used that as my frame of reference for trying other foods. If she'll eat it at all that's a win. When the Pangea Growth and Breeding arrived I mixed it just a bit thicker, the consistency of soft serve and she took A BITE out of it. She definitely went for this food with a little more energy. It could be that she's more adjusted and comfortable eating, shes also tried 2 new insects (a cricket and a wax worm, not the most nutritious but they shipped fastest and got here first, better feeders are on the way) so her confidence is up. While she's growing I decided to start with the growth and breeding formula, I bought all the Pangea flavors and there is one other "with insects" flavor in a red bag. I'll be alternating between the two and supplementing with vitamin dusted feeder insects. From what I've read most baby and juvenile reptiles need a higher percentage of healthy proteins during these younger life stages so I'm going to keep with the fruit/insect blends. I also have Repashy Grubs n Fruit (I ordered that from Chewy) but haven't tried it yet. I'll add it in for some variety in a few weeks. Since she loves the Pangea I didn't want to keep opening all my bags of food but once she does try it I'll update my review. Some other reviews mentioned problems with expiration date or funny smell. My bag has an expiration of 2020 so... Can't speak to that issue. And the funny smell may be the added vitamins and minerals. I recognized a faint smell that reminded me of chewable vitamins or multivitamin pills which makes sense because this powdered diet is complete with added vitamins and minerals! I can assure you it doesn't make this diet less tempting for my gecko, she clearly likes the taste and the faint vitamin smell doesn't deter her. Hope this helps!

I use multiple pangea products and this is my go to staple. All the geckos enjoy it and it's very easy to mix. The geckos seem to enjoy it and the smell is perfect. My geckos seem to thrive really well on this product and I would definitely recommend it.

I love the big packs because they last ages. I mix this with the fig and insects powder and it definitely helps my slow grower geckos bulk up. Arrived super quickly as well so very happy
